Roger played very solidly, there were some UEs and such but overall everything worked out perfectly :yeah:

Stan is not in the best of forms, but is better than last year's end which was :o :eek:

Stan the Man is so overrated it's not even funny.

Good that he won, but Stan is not a proper measuring stick. Very suprised that he beat Gonzo, but I still expect an early exit at AO.

Stan was just happy to be out there on the same court as Federer.:D

It seemed like an incredibly long one-on-interview with Federer. :lol: I turned it off before it finished.

Federer played well today, some very nice shotmaking on his end. It was a good match to watch, better than most of the half-hearted efforts/low intensity matches I've seen this week in Kooyong. Wawrinka was very inconsistent.

Wawrinka didn't seem to be bothered moving his feet during the match. During the pre-match interview he pointed out that 'it's only an exhibition', which I guess showcases his mindset going in.

Federer hit some very pretty winners though so it was a good match to watch anyway.

Horrible final. Exactly as the scoreline suggested. For me it was a waste of money (except for Verdasco VS Gonzo, that was good). I can honestly say I had more fun at the 2 hours of qualies I went to after Kooyong finished

Well least Roger's going into the AO still number two in the world and looking in great form. Id say he's the favorite to win by far.

In case your question was serious I'll answer it for you: A minnie mouse win is a win that is irrelevant for the "big picture". Federer can win as many exhibition tourneys as he wants but that won't help him when he keeps losing to players like Nadal nad Murray at the real ATP tournaments.

Other than US Open, Federer is a MM player for the last 14 months or so, while Murray has at least won 2 non-MM titles last year :wavey:
