The Prisoner is no more, after dying in Los Angeles at the age of 80:

Sad news, I only saw him in a handful of other roles besides Number 6, such as in Silver Streak and Escape from Alcatraz, but he had such an impressive presence on the screen. I have a feeling we're going to be saying goodbye to a lot of legendary actors of his generation over the next few years, unfortunately.

I never saw him in anything but the Prisoner but the Prisoner fucking rocked it.

RIP # 6, you are a free man :yeah:

This is surreal. We rented from Netflicks the original Danger Man/Secret Agent series pre Prisoner. Such a debonair spy and they held up pretty well. Just started watching them last night and had to wiki him to get more information. RIP

He was 80. I would say your feeling is a sure thing.

Yes, yes I realise that, thanks very much. :p But it's going to be hard when all those names you grew up with start to go...

Yes, but for me they started going some years ago.

And Buddy will be gone for 50 years on Feb 3.

:awww: He was hot in his younger days (in addition to being a great actor).
