Any ideas for the 3rd main draw wild card? :)

Could be Lleyton Hewitt, he is a former champion at Delray.

No Nishikori? Playing Dubai?

He's scheduled to play for Davis Cup in Japan the following week. I think that's why.

Would be nice if Haase starts playing again, but I think we have to wait a little longer. In Rotterdam he hardly practiced...

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/community/news/delraybeach/sfl-flspdelraytennis23sbfeb23,0,3680736.storyMalisse, 27, whose rank dropped from 27 in 2007 to 168 because of wrist injuries, was upset he wasn't given one of three wild cards into an event he won in 2005 and '07.

"I didn't play well enough today," Malisse said. "I think it's pretty embarrassing to be in five finals in eight years, winning twice and not get a wild card. ... There's no loyalty in tennis."

Malisse understood why former No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt got one and Chicago teen Evan King received a mandatory spot for winning the USTA Boys 18s National Clay Court Championships, but he questioned the 11th-hour spot given to 37th-ranked Sam Querrey.

"I truly adore Malisse," tournament director Mark Baron said. "I didn't know if he was healthy. Hewitt's a better draw ... but I told Malisse that I was leaning toward Querrey because he's an American."

I agree with Malisse here. He had done so well at Delray Beach and it's an insult to not give him the WC. If Querrey or Hewitt wanted to play here the should have signed up on the entry list. Big thumbs down.

I guess Hewitt could have taken a SE, or didn't his quarterfinal against Rochus finish before 9pm?

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/community/news/delraybeach/sfl-flspdelray24sbfeb24,0,4333867.storyNext year, the Boys' 18s Clay Court champion will receive a wild card into qualifiers, not the main draw.
"So I'm the last person," King said. "That's awesome. ... I'm just going to have to show them I could play."
