Last year, the Australian Open website offered a free sms service for people all around the world with news and live scores in it. However, I cannot find it on the website, anymore.
Here's last year's link:

Does anyone of you know if they'll offer this sms service again? Thanks :)

Is that free? Cool. For everybody around the world?

Yes. You pay for 1 SMS (around 0,50€ I think, depends on the country you live in) and then you'll receive a free sms service for the whole 2 weeks. It was pretty awesome last year...So I hope that they'll offer it again.

Wow, it was free? I definitely want it. I hope they update their page soon.

No new edition of this? Or will they release the SMS service when MD play starts?

They surely should have put an update by now, I'm not very optimistic of this.
Does anyone know where I would be able to sign up for SMS updates?
The Optus service that is being offered doesn't seem to say anything about live scores, only results which is not what I want.

Where can I find that Optus service?

Unfortunately, they do not offer a sms service this year. You can login via mobilephone on mobile.australianopen.com, there you get live scores, news and the schedule...
