.... beyond the established folks (Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, also Murray since the US Open).

Del Potro, Gulbis, Simon look promising as the year begins. Davydenko may be in for a comeback. Any others?

Ernie at Wimby.
Ali at Wimby.
Maybe Almugro at RG.

You never know about Nalbandian.
Roddick still has a couple good runs left in him.

I'd be surprised.
But you think Davydenko will factor in at the slams when he's never been a factor to begin with?

Well he's made to 4 GS SFs in his career, I think he's good for a couple more.

Davydenko has been the same for ages, I really can´t see him suddenly being a threat. He´s a solid QF-player. With a maximum performance, he might reach the semis in AO or US Open, but I doubt it.

the Gooch will win AO+US and King Oscar will win RG+Wimbly :worship:

surprised Tsonga hasn't been mentioned yet, he is a force to reckon with (if inspired by the crowd).

Ah, I thought his sumo rank was based solely on his performance in slams.

That's asking too much. I wouldn't know how to compute this below sanyaku (=the Championship ranks).

For Maegashira I therefore just take the seeding list.
