Brisbane R2: Söderling beats Benneteau 6-3 6-3

Robin went up with a doublebreak in the first, lost one of them, but broke for a third time to take the first set. In the second Benny had a couple of chances early on, but Robin held and got a brake of his own a game later, and then it went with serve.

Söderling now awaits the winner of Llodra/Stepanek.
