Do the Chinese celebrate Christmas or i's just a small minority??

I know some fellow Chinese students who stayed at uni over the christmas break because there didn't celebrate christmas and to them it was a waste of time to fly back home.

Yes, Christmas is not that huge for Chinese, but, it becomes relatively popular these years in China, partly because of the global culture communication I think.

It is definitely a waste of time for them to"fly back home",because the biggest festival for all Chinese people is the Lunar New Year(Chinese New Year or Spring Festival),which is always in January or February.:) They will "faly back home" for Chinese New Year definitely.:bounce:

Some huge cities in China do have some celebrations on Christmas, but no one seriously believes this is a festival, and it is not a public holiday.;)
