HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL US AMERICANS (not that any of you thought about us Canadians six week ago, mind you).

Don't send your kids to school in Pilgrim hats or Indian head-dress. They are no longer politically correct and may offend 0.0000001% of the population.

I made a thread for Canadians Thanksgiving :p

I feared that. I was actually in Canada and not online back then.

But you are Canadian, so that is not the same as getting best wishes from others.

What did you do in Canada at that time?

Visiting Toronto. I am thinking of moving back there. But not before the end of winter. I actually had not realized it was Thanksgiving, so actually spent Thanksgiving Day on the train from Windsor to Toronto.

Thanksgiving is more quiet in Canada plus election day is right after it this year. Both of my nieces worked for election Canada and were hardly home. :p

When I arrived in Toronto, I had a message waiting from friends in Michigan saying that when they drove me across the border to the train I took his wife's passport and left my own in his car. I was due to fly back to Costa Rica early the next day. They were able to put it on the next train, so I spent Thanksgiving evening in Toronto station anxiously waiting for the midnight train to arrive.

Are you in Bangkok now?

No. Because of the financial crisis I decide to wait until the New Year before deciding. But if I had gone at the usual time, it would be just about now:eek:
