Players that Andy Owns....

Some players just don't match up well with Andy....lol

after this weekend, I would like to name Kiefer to that list. When Andy beats someone down, add them to this list!

I know Sjeng Schaulken and Xavier Malisse belong here. :)

Deboogle!.
07-26-2004, 02:55 PM

Blake (5-0)
Ljubicic (5-1, only loss is a retirement)
Fish (3-1, ditto)
Ginepri (3-0)
Karol Beck (3-0)
Hyung-Taik Lee (6-1)
Coria (3-0)
Davydenko (3-0)
Koubek (4-0)
Kucera (3-0)
Alberto Martin (3-0)

07-26-2004, 03:15 PM
lol Bunk. How are Andy records againt Gonzo, Dent, and Grosjean? Doesn't he own them as well.

Deboogle!.
07-26-2004, 03:20 PM
he's 3-1 against Dent but all three have come in a row - this one I do know off the top of my head lol

*looks it up*

Gonzo: 2-1 I don't think that constitutes ownership yet
Seb: 4-1 only loss coming on clay IN France... ok that kinda is ownership lol

Fumus
07-26-2004, 03:24 PM
haha that's funny! Deciding what consitutes ownership of a player...hahaha*seriously laughing out loud*

Yep add Seb to the list, add that loser Dent to list.

I didn't know Andy had so many bitches

Fumus
07-26-2004, 03:33 PM
Andy is 4-2 against Bjokman...I think after another 2 wins over him, we can say Andy is his rightful owner.

Roddick is 8 and 0 against Malisse, that is some serious ownership. Malisse just has to :worship: his master...lol

Roddick is 5 and 1 against Schalken, so yea Schalken even talked before wimbly about how he just :worship: Andy.

Andy is 4 and 1 against Pdorn, so I think we can give the title of ownership to Andy...haha

Deboogle!.
07-26-2004, 03:39 PM
Andy's a long way from owning Bjorkman b/c their matches are really tough. Andy would have to win a lot more and a lot more convincingly (like the DC match except that Bjorko was exhausted by the end of that one) for me to be able to say he owns him :)

I agree with Schalken and PDorn though. His losses to them were just aberrations :p

Carito_90
07-26-2004, 03:39 PM
Roddick is 8 and 0 against Malisse

That is too sad :sobbing:

Fumus
07-26-2004, 03:43 PM
lol...yea Malisse is a sad case. The highlight of his career was making the semis of Wimbledon.

Andy owns all of the young Americans. They are his favorite beetches. ;)

Fumus
07-26-2004, 03:46 PM
to tell the truth there are'nt alot of players out of the top 20 that Andy doesn't own with some consistency.

07-26-2004, 07:12 PM
Robredo (6-0 never dropped a set :yeah: )
Blake (5-0)
Ljubicic (5-1, only loss is a retirement)

So next time he is faced of one of these players, I bet all my Vcash on him :D

I think andy owns almost everyone on the tour,.......... except Roger Federer.
It's 6-1 to Federer, I think?

Deboogle!.
07-26-2004, 07:22 PM
he doesn't own Haas (0-4) or Andre (1-4)... there are a bunch of players he's 1-0 or 2-0 against and that doesn't really mean ownership either yet :p. He's also 0-2 against Clement :o And only 2-2 against Gambill :silly:

RoddickBabe10
07-26-2004, 08:09 PM
 2-2 against Gambill?!?! I didn't know that! I don't think he's that great of a player (Gambill)

superpinkone37
07-26-2004, 08:12 PM
i know the last time they played andy kicked his butt, so maybe their first two matches were the ones andy lost and you cant really base predictions on matches that happened two or more years ago. like didnt hewitt used to kick andy's butt and now and just beat him easily enough. i guess i could look up actual facts, i am so just guessing on most of this stuff.lol

Deboogle!.
07-26-2004, 08:19 PM
 2-2 against Gambill?!?! I didn't know that! I don't think he's that great of a player (Gambill)

LOL That was kinda a joke. The 2 times Kendoll beat Andy were way a long time ago... he caught up this year once and then again the next week lol. I was there the first time he beat him in scottsdale and he came back from a set down (lost in a TB actually! ).... I'm sure Andy will own Jan-Mike from now on.

No need to be embarrassed about Clement, both his wins against Roddick were on clay in 2002 and at the moment it's safe to say that any player who meets Roddick regularly on clay will end up with a healthy record against him (with the exception of luminaries like Kendrick and Lee, of course). Roddick is doing a good job of keeping his record against other top players respectable by sucking on clay, of course, since he doesn't even get to play them.

I could be annoyed about the Schalken head to head, but then bearing in mind that Schalken is also owned by every top player out there I ain't too worried. He has his limitations, as does Robredo, hence his failure to win even a single set against Roddick. It's people like Malisse and Srichaphan who should be worried given that they have some real weapons in their armoury - although the latter is basically only good at one thing, and Roddick does it better than him.

Fumus, you should rename your thread "Andy's Bitch Boy Club" because we can now add one yummy German named Kiefer to the Roddick harem. :) Andy beat Kiwi in the Toronto SFs today, 7-5, 6-3.

:woohoo: Another Roger/Andy final! *orgasms* aaah! :smoke: Tomorrow's going to be a blood battle! Bring on the Swiss Meister! :rocker2:

I don't think this can be classified as an 'own' but Andy has a 2-1 record against the great Pete. Not many players, active or otherwise had/have a winning record against him, so its a great achievement.

Deboogle!.
08-04-2004, 08:54 PM
star will appreciate your pointing that out ;)

I'm glad Andy had his wins over Pete when he had them, the one in Miami really is what kinda put him on the map.

But Pete won the biggest one and I'm happy about that too

Yea, Kiefer needs to put a sign on his back "Property of Andy Roddick"

What about PDorn? Is he gonna enter further deep into bitchdom today? currently 4-1

Fumus
08-05-2004, 02:20 PM
Pdorn...well it's like this, Andy could be defense and beat Pdiddy with his consistancy or he could he can play attacking own Pdiddydorns best shots...so yea, Schrek will have to play out of his mind tonight to beat Andy, and it's possible when Schrek gets hot he's a giant killer. For some reason I though, I see Pdiddy being the only one bowing out tonight! Get it bowing out...ahh man I kill myself...

yea I call him Schri, but I mistyped it Shrik, and I was like hey wait a second!

oh yea speaking of other people Andy owns.

I was watching RCA highlights of Llbujicc and Andy, lol, the one NBC commentator says "What was Ivan thinking on that one?" and Courier says "Clearly it isn't Llbujicc's strong suit to think!", hahahahahahahahahahh omg, I was dieing, here I am in the middle of this quiet office, in my little cube, and I was almost in tears! superpinkone37

Well I think Andy could have ownership of Roger if say....Roger decided to play lefty...or maybe Roger decided to play in a wheel chair or sumtin...haha..Andy's record against him will improve but typically good players don't own other good players..check Andy's records with Marat, Henman, Andre, Hewitt...etc..

Anyhoo, I don't know where to post this but tell me if any of you don't think this kid looks like Andy at all. His name is also Andrew. He's the new great white hope for British tennis. I haven't seen him play yet but I already like the looks of him. He could be potential bait for Roddick.

ANDREW MURRAY

Age: 17
Born: Dunblane, Scotland
Titles: 0
World ranking: 532

The great hope of British tennis had been managing to keep a relatively low profile until he blew his cover by winning the US Open juniors in September.

A predictable whirl of media interest followed from the moment the young Scot was met at the airport on his arrival back from New York.

There have since been excitable tales of Murray beating the likes of Carlos Moya and Guillermo Coria in practice, and he has not exactly lowered expectations himself.

Murray has revealed that he fully expects to be in the world's top 50 by the end of 2005 - a huge task for the current British number 15. He has the talent, now he must produce regularly at the highest level.

Somewhat relevant (I feel like Haas & Malisse play every week):

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writers/jon_wertheim/02/21/wertheim.mailbag/index.htmlHere's a good trivia question for the 'Bag. Roddick has played Hyung-Taik Lee nine times. Which two current players have squared off the most times?
-- Sbari Sbari, Beit Shemesh, Israel

Wertheim: Good one. I always thought it seemed like Roddick played Xavier Malisse every week. (I looked it up, and they've played eight times with Roddick going 8-0.) It also seems that for all the history between them, Hewitt and Blake square off a lot. (They've played six times, and Hewitt leads 6-0.) The problem with this "trivia" is that it's probably as much a function of age as odds. Agassi and Jan-Michael Gambill, for instance, have met a whopping 13 times (Agassi is 11-2) which sounds like a lot, but when you spread it over seven-plus seasons, it's less remarkable.
