Yes, I think he has some minor problems or fatigue, maybe both, but I think I heard it was more of an injury.

It's not a withdrawal, but Cañas won't participate here cause they didn't send him a WC. I found it kind of weird, especially cause he won it two years ago...

Yes - that is kind of weird in the circumstances. Poor Willy :sad: Not sure who the Wild Cards have gone to but I doubt they are to anyone as accomplished and successful as him.

I don't remember their names but they're all Canadian. He said that that's why he chose doing the clay tournaments instead. He made the right choise, he's been doing really well.

I thought there was a special exempt spot available at Toronto for someone who would normally have to go through the quallies, but was still in the semis at a tournament this week? Cañas fits that bill perfectly, and the fact that he won it before makes his case even better.

Well, I just read in an Argentinian newspaper that he said he didn't get anything at all...I thought it was very unfair.
