Roddick vs. Gonzalez WWW?

Roddick's been doing better than he has been this past hardcourt season, which is not saying too much.

But he likes the US Open and performs quite decently here.

Gonzalez is playing quite well, but his backhand, as always, is his weak side.

I'd give the edge, despite the negative h2h, to Gonzalez, his serving and forehand have been quite good in this tournament.

Gonzalez in 5.

Are you guys serious? Three straight sets for Roddick. Gonzo can't return Roddick's serve for his life.

Hopefully Gonzo will send the pusher out.

Gonzo's got no hope. He'll get broken in his first 2 service games and his confidence will drop completely losing 6-2, 6-3, 6-4. Gonzo has done it so many times against Roddick that it would be surprising if it worked any other way. The last time they played was last year right after Gonzo beat Federer. What happened? Gonzo was crushed by Roddick

Gonzo was drunk last time they played.

I would go with Roddick winning it in 4.

Night session, packed house, Roddick at his best.

No clue. Andy has been playing better than I have seen him play in awhile and Fernando has a sore ankle.
I actually am looking forward to their fanbases responses during and after the match more

Given that both Gonzalez and Roddick are equally capable of playing great or crappy, I think that any of the above poll options could occur,

gonzalez in 4. Its all depends on how fernando returns roddick serve. Once in a baseline battle fena has too much for roddick.

I like Roddick in this matchup because Gonzo has alot of trouble with returning Andy's serve. In those type of match-ups Andy always comes out ahead. The best returners always give Andy the most trouble.

I like Roddick in 3 sets.

No way for Gonzo.
Looking at h2h´s against big servers I have realised that he has them lost with Karlovic, Guccione, Ljubicic and of course the Duck, so...Roddick in 3 or 4.

LleytonMonfils

If Roddick plays too passively this one could go five. If Roddick plays the way he has played thus far I like him to get through in 4. He must keep the pedal to the metal though. Don't give Gonzno any looks.
