1. Haas losing a 2 set lead to Gilles "I'll pull off a fluke win once in a blue moon" Muller. Ingeniously blows a fuse over a shot that was clearly on the line in the tiebreaker and clowns away the rest of match spectating another 30 or so aces. Confirms the mugginess of this feat by contemplating retirement for the first time in his career.

2. Safin makes a meal of a break point at 4-4 in the third and in vintage Safin style, loses 8 games in a row to former top 5 genius Boredo on a fast hard court. Clearly an attempt to out-mug his favourite hitting partner's achievement a few hours earlier.

3. Gulbis manages to lose serve 3 times in a row to return master Rocket Rodduck after being on the brink of getting a 2 set to love lead. This could lead to permanent self-esteem issues for Gulbis.

4. Troicki painting his panties a light shade of brown after getting the break up against the "World's number 1". Loses 10 games in a row to Rafael Nadull on a fast hard court much to the disgust of Troickitard.

5. A scrawny Scot showing us his "guns" that are half the size of Serena Williams' after barely escaping a straight sets loss to Jurgen Melzer. Clydey must have blown his load 10 times over upon seeing that mountainous lump finally reveal itself to a very "interested" audience.

Tough decision I know, but it must be Gulbis.

Losing three service games in a row to Roddick takes real talent. Therefore Gulbis gets my vote narrowly edging out Troicki losing 10 games in a row to a hardcourt mug in Nadull.

I saw the best part of 4 out of 5 of those...

Gulbis vs roddick I have watched twice... and...

Gulbis gets the chocolates for me in the first week in what is certainly a high quality mug-off here...

Gulbis' dogs breakfast actually looked ten fold worse second time round... he really didnt want it...

Haas is the winner, surely? Murray came back from 2 sets down to beat a red lining Melzer and then handed out tickets to the gun show.

Haas lost from 2 sets up to someone from the Challengers and then handed out tickets to his retirement party.

No contest. Now go cut yourself some more to get over Haas' capitulation :)

hilarious thread! :D

i think i'll have to go for haas, mainly because his opponent was a joke who got beaten up severely in the first two sets and wouldn't have managed to find his way back into the match if it wasn't for tommy' ridiculous "generosity".

11 games in a row to the utter mug, not 10. This mug is good :retard:

crikey... 'the muscle' is really copping some heat for his gun popping antics... but... really, even the naysayers know... how could tennis really survive without it...?

People on MTF probably think Sexy is the biggest mug losing in straights to rank outsider Federer.

Almugro's performance of today should be added to the list.

yes, you know :) exactly the years that Federer won

Close one between Haas and Murray for me. Before the Almagro match, I'd have definitely picked Haas. But I finally went with Murray and his biceps. Hopefully, that was the last time that he did that.

I hope he flashes his guns after every match to piss a few more people off.

You'd think he dropped his shorts and showed his skinny white ass the way people are carrying on.

murray is all substance... no bells, no whistles...

i mean... look at the state of him... he's not winning any modelling contracts is he... couldnt even buy his way into a LIDL catalogue... head like a homeless dog... ugly enough to be australian tho, he should jump ship so we have someone decent and also show hewitt where his mongrel is hiding...

he couldn't give two ****s... what a champion...

Querrey playing a muggish Nadal is still losing, though. I'd say that might make Querrey as big of a mug, leading to a state of equilibrium -- neither are contenders, unless this goes to five sets somehow.

Nicolas Almugro. Losing his serve once per 5 sets and still losing 2-3, after leading 2-0 is something spectacular. Fits his name.

Exactly. Never the expression "mug-off" described something so perfectly.

Exactly. Never the expression "mug-off" described something so perfectly.

as much as i appreciate what Murray reduced this match to... multiple WTA-style break swapping would qualify this match as a mug-off...

also... in the eyes of 95% of MTF this is a mug-off... that alone would qualify it...
