People are in Tsonga´s side more and more but I think Robredo has the weapons to bother the unfit frenchman. I saw 1st match against Ace and truly he showed low form, I wish I had seen Moya´s match but knowing his form I don´t think Tsonga is at 100 % already.

Unfortunately for Tommy this will not be a half marathon or any kind of running event. That thing the two will be involved in is a tennis match, and they'll be using tools such as racquets, tennis balls...Right now Tsonga is just a tad bit better at making these thingamajigs(balls, racquets, ect) work for him.
In a half marathon though I'd put my money on Tommy.

Hopefully Tsonga bc he's more talented and because he's superhot but he's been out of it for so long I don't really know if he can win against a more 'decent' player. I hope he gets this in 4.

I wonder if he'll ever find his Aussie Open form back.

Cassius Tsonga should KO him in the 5th round, maybe 6th if Robredo attempts to run round him.

I think this article is interesting:

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga takes on Tommy Robredo for a spot in the 4th round
8/30/08 2:31 PM | Jonathan Morgan

In his first event back for months after his knee injury, Tsonga is looking to repeat his Australian Open form.

In his first two matches, Tsonga has looked shaky and inconsistent due to lack of match play. Flashes of Australian Open brilliance mixed in with misfiring forehands. Towards the end of the Moya match in the 2nd round, Tsonga looked to be firing on most if not all cylinders. If he can bring that intensity and consistency to this match, watch out.

Robredo is the type of opponent who will not give Tsonga anything. This match will rest entirely on how well the Frenchman is playing. If Tsonga is aggresive and throws down big serves, mixes it up with great baseline play and net work, he should dispatch of Robredo rather quickly. If he is missing from time to time and lets Tommy do what he wants, Robredo will tire him down and Tsonga will begin to get frustrated and miss more.

All in all, Tsonga must do what he needs to do to take this match. Play his game, basically, and he should have no problems. If he is lax at all, however, Robredo will step up and take it.

Tsonga eats moonballers for breakfast.
So I'll say M.Ali in 4.

Tsonga is looking good and is getting into groove. He will win in straights, maybe four. Only concern is stamina, but I don't see Tommmmmy winning this.

Tsonga with a KO in Round 4. Boredo will most likely get in a few lucky shots to earn him one round, but should still be pretty comfortable for Tsonga. As long as he can keep his footwork at a decent level throughout the fight.

Near the end of the struggle a desperate Boredo will probably try to hit a devastating smash right in Tsonga's face, but thanks to either his amazing dodging ability or monster chin he'll be left unharmed.

I think Tsonga will have his way with Robredo. Never in doubt.

Tsonga will kill him. No lethal injections here. Tsonga will kill him with one of his legendary forehands right to Boredo's head. It will be quick, but it won't be painless.

That is all I have to say on the matter.

I'm unable to watch this match but judging by the first set it could well be a long game. My pick, Robredo in 5, isn't looking too bad.
