Seven straight points for Davy in the tiebreak. Couldn't quite get a second straight triple bagel though. First two match win streak of the hardcourt season.

He looked really good today. Took the ball early, found the angles and hit really cleanly.

Enjoyable match. Davydenko was playing solid, Calleri challenged him. Some good rallies here and there. Not much more to add to that.

Good match and there were a lot of good baseline exchanges with both players trying to take control of the rallies. Davydenko was using the pace that Calleri was feeding him well to redirect his groundstrokes and was hitting them accurately, except for in the third set where he started to make a few more errors but he picked it up again by playing a very good tie-breaker. Calleri played well also - you know if he only makes a similar amount of unforced errors as Davydenko did today, then he played a good match.

Inevitable result but still a little sad for Calleri :sad: Guess Davydenko is determined to at least salvage the remainder of his season here...
