Wow, six sets won in a row! And only one tiebreaker!! And at a GS tournament!!! Ivo's got groove.

Plays Querrey or Devilder next. Not guaranteed at all but it's a good chance for Ivo to make the fourth round at a major for the second time in his career (also Wimbledon '04). Go, Ivo!

Yes, you should shit your pants more than usual and post a pic doing laundry. Wish you were higher, don't you, if you feel the need for such comments.

so much for this "serve only" karlovic .
total number of breaks in
1st match : 5
2nd match : 3
total : 8

plus ivo got broken once

next up querey or delivider.
i prefer querrey as deliver got some good records against big servers although sam beat injured ivo twice last season but ivo got him once this year at nottingham

i think bouncy decoturf II surface is helping ivo with his groundstrokes here as he can play the match without bending much and he can be agressive with the forehand end and offcourse can serve aces above the head.
somehow i'm liking this surface

Amazing :worship:

Only Philippoussis served more aces (44) in three "tie-break" sets. What's more interesting he served in 15 games like Ivo today.

Right, I didn't realise that. However, hopefully this time he will not fold like he did to Youzhny in Australia.

No!
Against Poppp, Scud served 34 aces in 5 sets. He served 44 aces against B.Black - 6-7 6-2 6-4 in Kuala Lumpur 1995. Today's Ivo performance is more impressive because he served 86 times (2.4 aces per game), Philippoussis 98 times (2.2 aces per game) in that match ;)

an almost 7footer one shot wonder is being cheered on???? and the only reason his serve is that good is because of his freak like height and hence the trajectory of the ball is skewered in his favour! come on no real tennis fan could possibly enjoy his game but then again not many of us on this tennis forum are real tennis fans....

The serve is the most difficult shot :retard:

The ones who don't know anything about tennis and difficulty of shots may not now this. Defending/Pushing/Moonballing is the easiest and technically deficient way of playing tennis.

I don't remember the match vs Black. But I remember very well how I got nearly one heart attack after another in the match vs Popp. And I remembered he served lots of aces there.

Well done dr.Ivo:yeah:
Nadal vs Karlovic would be great match, last time they played in Queens it was all 3 sets in tiebreaks, wasnt easy win for Rafa at all. But Querrey first...and it will not be easy to beat in form American in New York. Seems to me, Karlovic does not like huge showcourts and lot of media attention, he prefers to do his job on smaller outside courts ...
