Finally, Chris took one of his easy draws he gets at grand slams. means he's won one main draw match at every grand slam now. I didn't see the match but 32 aces is good but a 1/16 bp conversion rate :help:

Gooch's tournament to lose from here. This was the big obstacle.

Good win Guccione :yeah: The guy has this kind of serve that would be a tough opponent for Federer in the 3rd round.

Yes, I think it should be an equal match. Sexy isn't in great shape lately.

Gooch in a GS = crap

Even though he beat Sexy in Sydney, i doubt he'll able to do the same thing here. I bloody hope he does though

Sexy vs the Gooch = sexiest match of the year.

Gooch is the sexiest redhead man since Ralph Malph or this guy.

And Levine is not a mug, but then again those calling him one probably have never seen him play.

Guccione to me seems not that great in slams because over five sets players have time to adjust to his serve.

Yeah, but Guccione at least is a better player than your fave Petzschner who wasn't even able to beat Alves in the final round of qualies :haha: and can only dream about meeting with Federer.

This is the first time I see our statician this pissed off.

Jan is right though, mate. Petzschner is better than Guccione. :)

Anyone privileged enough to have witnessed Fish v. Levine in New Haven last week would not dare to claim that Levine isn't a mug.

I can agree with this from technical point of view. Guccione is almost all-serve player but who cares? Guccione at least played two finals in Australia, beat Ferrero when he was Top 5 player; Petzschner's best ATP result is barely one quarterfinal in Metz, hasn't a single win over very good player

But it doesn't matter. I don't any feelings about Petzschner (I've seen him just once in singles) because the guy is too weak to treat him seriously, I don't like when I put some predictions and someone suggest it's a bullshit. It makes only sense after facts. Let's wait, maybe Guccione overcomes Sexy and will be humiliating from Federer's hands. Then it will be an authoritative comment that I said bullshits.

I doubt Steps will ever lose to the Gooch again, but let's see.
