Poop. Back to injury days. I've no idea what happened. Didn't see that much of the match.

What a player this Minar :worship: Loses to Hernandez at AO, then loses to Vassallo on grass green clay and then beats Kiefer on hard... Nieminen is next

Kiefer was 40-0 on serve at 4:4 in the 3rd set and stopped to play his normal tennis

Kiwi was treated at the shoulder after the 3rd set. :awww:

To me it looked as if Kiwi already retired in the 2nd set, then pulled himself together for some stretches in the 3rd set, and then retired mentally completely after blowing 5 straight points on his own serve to lose the set.

:banghead: Wasn't nice to see his head down like this almost every time they showed this match

My hope is that it is nothing extremely severe, because else he would have stopped much sooner or even immediately. Probably some kind of strain which can be cured with one or two weeks of rest.

at least he temporarily saved my cash by retiring. that's the issue we should be most concerned about here.

Awww unlucky Kiwi :awww: I hope it's nothing too serious and soon he's back.

Obviously he had the problems already for longer, which hindered him to practice regularily. In German reports it's said he had knee and hip problems.

I wish him a speedy recovery, but, again, another huge opportunity lost. Another huge letdown.
