LA Tournament 2008

His first match is against Vincent SPADEA (USA) ranked 100
Head-to-head is 3-2 Seb

I see he is also playing doubles with Florent Serra (against John Inser and James Cerretani) Any ideas on this?

Good luck with it all Seb :)

Well, Cerretani won in the doubles final in Kitzbühel, I think, but with Hanescu. And we all know what Isner can do with his serve. Anyways, if they beat Cerretani/Isner, they could meet the first seeds. So I think the doubles draw is way more difficult than the singles one.

Ooh ok. Any yeah number one seed next =/
Poor Seb stood next to 6"9" Isner
Yeah, lets all hope well for the singles! At least he's hopefully fit again!

He won 6/3 the second set after winning 5/0... I believed the was going to lose it.

He's in the entry list for Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington next week.

Has anyone noticed that he seems to be loosing more ever since he ditched the cap? I miss the cap

Thanks, I also saw that he is playing in the pilot pen tourney as well. I miss the cap as well, this year at monte carlo, he wore one with a slightly torn bill, and it looked awesome, but I haven't liked the few times this year where he has worn a cap with the bill down. I think the first time i saw him playing without the cap was last year in paris v. tsonga...i actually like him with the no hat/ short hair look...too bad he loses when using this look!

Ah okay. Thanks :)
Ooh ok. I don't think he looks right with the bill down. Well not the normal Seb anyway  I think he looks good without the cap and the shorter hair too but his trademark look has gone and I don't think that's too good.
I'd be interested to know why he's suddenly got rid of it.

I thought about the same thing. For me it seemed like he stopped wearing the cap as a symbol of being in the twilight of his career, but that he still saves his trademark look for his favorite tournaments (i.e. Monte Carlo) although I don't know why he wouldnt wear it at wimbledon!?

This last year at the PLO when I watched Seb and Nono practice I really thought about how much I will miss the both of them when they retire. But enough of that, the field in New Haven looks like both of them could do some damage!

Glad people are thinking on the same lines as me :D Oh good idea, yeah surely he would've worn it at Wimbledon and possibly Queens? Being a finalist there more than once ...

Aww. Don't talk about them retiring.
Lets all hope!!
