Interesting to note that Sampras was once Chang's bagel boy. Later, Chang couldn't win a match against him.

That rivalry bears some resemblance with Hewitt and Federer today. Early on in their respective carreers both Roger and Pete had problems with the 'run rabbit run' type of players but once they got on top of their games they were in control of the later matches.

Another rivalry that should be considered is Pete's rivalry with Courier. Although according to the H2H itself it is in no way 'close', the matches themselves were often tight matches and many of them Sampras eeked out by the skin of his teeth:

I think Wayne Ferreira's record is the most impressive and something he can be really proud of when he retires this year :)

I can remember that Santoro v Sampras match that Fabrice won 6-1, 6-1. Pete was obviously not playing great, but Fabrice played well and his other wins over Pete show that Fabrice could spin a web round anyone on his day.

I can also remember that amazing Becker v Sampras match in Hannover. It was really exciting and the 4th set tiebreak is one of the best ever.
