Congratulations genius, you have reached the top of the class with that moronic statement. One, cramp is not an injury, it's a loss of physical conditioning. Two, it was brought on by nerves and anxiety to which Coria freely admitted to after the match, and that was his own fault and no one elses.

Then again he won 6 other matches to get there and won 2 other 5 setters as well, conditioning it's part of the game.

Ok, that's cool and yes the moronic thing might have been harsh, but when you hear the same crap over again especially with the Gaudio victory and saying the only reason he won because his opponents were injured, is going to a get harsh rebuke.

Just be prepared to back up your points that's all.

Yes, it's hard they know exactly what each other can and can't do. I know Mariano always beat him in the juniors, but things have changed.

To tell you the truth I don't care about the naysayers. Why? If any of them had a clue, they would know this match is different, and the fact that Zabaleta is very strong on clay and has beaten most of the top players on clay, he should have beaten Coria last year at RG.

Realistically his opponent will never taste such a sweet victory :worship: as Gaston achieved last month! That way it's maybe better for the Argentinian mates to be generous sharing this lesser titles among themselves :cool: !

What would you like to know about Mariano? You know he is Gaston's best friend and Mariano is going for the king of Båstad title. He is a very friendly guy and very popular in Sweden.

You are trophy lover Dirk, I never knew that. I might be slightly going for Mariano, but I don't care too much who wins the title. The party will be good though. :)

Would be terrible if Mariano lost his serve twice in a row. I think the trophy is just really done well. Hey George if you go to Guga's site you can take a look at his trophy cabinet inside his gym. Its great, you can rotate all of his trophies around and really study them. Guga should be given another trophy for having the best player website.

Hi everyone!

I saw the match and it was really great! But I don´t know what happened
in the 1st set, because Gaudion played very bad there and it seemed almost for me that he was giving away points. Maybe it was just too early, I don´t know.
But then in the 2nd set he played much better and the match got what
you maybe think when you see the score.
In the 3rd set they were almost both breaking back all the time.
Gaston did not play bad in the end, but he did some more unforced errors.

Anyway, it was a great match and Gaston was not too disappointed, I think. It seemed that he was very happy for Mariano!
