First doubles title for Bruno at his 3rd ATP main draw appearence :worship: After the SF run at RG, now the title :woohoo:

I'm so happy for him, as he almost retired from tennis after a 2-year injury. Great guy also.

VAMOS BRUNO and congrats Ullyett too :)

How is Coetzee a top 20 player? Obviously he isn't the tallest, but I've seen club players with better serves, and for a game in which excellent retrieval skills are key, he would be limiting himself a little being double-fisted on both sides. Murray was carrying him most of the way in the 2nd set, and I didn't even see the 1st set (in which Coetzee dropped serve both times).

Well done Soares and Ross Kemp. :yeah:

How was Bruno playing? :)

He and Ullyet were clearly the better pairing imo...and probably should have won a little more easily. Soares had his good moments, and hit a nice passing winner (albeit aided by the netcord) on match point.

Oh Soares need a good partner, he is clearly one of the most talented doubles player around, i have no doubt he could make a top10 double if he gets a good pair.

From what I've seen of Coetzee, he has excellent skills at the net. I would rather take him as a partner than Murray .

Afraid I have to disagree, he is a very talented player who achieved early success in singles, and has achieved a huge amount in doubles. As you say, due to his strength his shots aren't huge, but he has excellent speed, touch, accuracy etc. Come on Jez, you seem to have gone off the boil a bit lately, your analysis used to be a lot more accurate.

Yeah and they play pretty well on grass it seems, remember last year wimbledon doubles with Melo/Sa and now Bruno won a title on grass.
