RagingLamb 06-21-2008, 12:16 AM is this really that different than this thread? http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=125981 This is an honest question on my part. NinaNina19 06-21-2008, 12:42 AM Eaton I was thinking he could make a couple rounds too. EnriqueIG8 06-21-2008, 12:43 AM John Isner, cause he is going to beat Nadal in second round an Gulbis in first:) No really, Juan Martin Del Potro is aiming for a fourth round/quarterfinal berth. RagingLamb 06-21-2008, 02:04 AM Why not? well, maybe there is a good reason for letting this thread stand. People have been complaining that I'm too trigger happy, so let's see how this turns out. I would have merged this with the "dangerous floaters" thread, but not this time. You have to understand that jcempire is a special case and he needs his own personal thread  finishingmove 06-21-2008, 02:17 AM it will be a surprise if roddick fails to win it this year. everything is set for it. GlennMirnyi 06-21-2008, 04:20 AM Nadal. He may even win a round or two. StevoTG 06-21-2008, 07:48 AM The sole difference that I can think of is that the floaters thread is for non-seeded players, most people expect the winner to come from 4 people so that leaves 28 players who are excluded from the other thread, As for who will be a surprise... I'm not sure, I may put money on Haase to beat Hewitt in R1 (but that's got plenty to do with having something to smile about on a sad day). Of the seeded players, if (and it's a big IF) Llodra can get past Ancic in R1 then I reckon that he'll make the Quarter finals  The_Beast 06-21-2008, 10:46 AM Acording to Bjorn Borg the biggest surprise on grass this year will be (as Roger is his third favourite for Wimbledon) the sixth consecutive title of Federer in Wimbledon :) Ouragan 06-21-2008, 11:34 AM Sorry for being chauvinistic, but why not a third French surprise after Tsonga and Monfils? One can dream...Mahut has yet to rise to his expectations at Wimby :) fanancic 06-21-2008, 12:23 PM Ancic Ilovetheblues_86 06-21-2008, 01:00 PM I hope Bellucci gets past Kunitsyn and then make the big surprise that would bem a win against the monster Karlovic! Monteque 06-21-2008, 02:00 PM Acording to Bjorn Borg the biggest surprise on grass this year will be (as Roger is his third favourite for Wimbledon) the sixth consecutive title of Federer in Wimbledon :) The biggest surprise is the thing that noone has ever thought before. like verkerk in RG, or tsonga in AO. Kolya vs Blake in the final. The_Beast 06-21-2008, 06:27 PM The biggest surprise is the thing that noone has ever thought before. like verkerk in RG, or tsonga in AO. Hearts, i know very well, what is the meaning of the expression"BIGGEST SURPRISE",just tried to be more sarcastic with Borg's predictions. At least, it is irrеlevant to say that Roger is the favourite in RG final and only a week later to say that Fed is his third favourite for Wimbledon title :) Jaap 06-21-2008, 06:58 PM J.Levine. Right, jcempire? Manon 06-21-2008, 07:00 PM Gulbis or Murray... ASP0315 06-21-2008, 07:01 PM Gulbis shouldn't have any problems against isner. Isner isn't used to grass courts. the question is how far does he go. He pretty good chance for 4th rd for sure. Peoples 06-21-2008, 09:24 PM Federer. Because according to most people he's now a big underdog even on grass. Let's see. The underdog no.1 might surprise some people. Stgobaiano 06-21-2008, 09:51 PM Phillip Petszchner.
