Good to see him back with a racket, at least we know he's been used to grass for some weeks, he played so many times at football in Paris... lol

Good luck Seb :D

Thank you for the pics

He won 7-6 / 6-1 against De Voest :)

De Voest led 3-1 in first set and got 2 set balls in the tie-break but Seb came back and then it's was very easy for him in the second set.

PLEASE, DO THAT! :worship::worship::worship: And thanks to Angela in advance :)I just pushed her, but do not expect too much. I thought she might go for Djokovic's match, so there's a chance to let her take some photos of Seb and Arnaud.

LOL, I will post some Seb pictures that I took from AO this year later. And I took some videos as well  really good memory of watching he defeated Volandri and Haas with HIGH atmosphere, but evil to see he lost the match agaist Blake after leading set sets and he played very very well...

So Seb should play both on Monday and Tuesday? Weird Englishmen  quite a few other players have to play both days, not only Seb :p three matches in two days....LOL

He explains in L'Equipe he now plays with a different (lighter) racquet to get rid of his shoulder problems. It feels a bit weird, his shots and his serve are not as "heavy" as they used to be and he has to speed up the ball much more with the new racquet, but the most important thing for him is that his shoulder doesn't hurt anymore:

« Pour servir, j’ai parfois la sensation de frapper dans le
vide. Ça fait un peu bizarre, ma balle est moins lourde, j’ai
moins de points gratuits au service. Dans le jeu, il faut que
je donne plus d’accélération. Mais, tant que je n’ai pas
mal à l’épaule, c’est l’essentiel. »

I saw it twice...last year in Paris against Tsonga, and he lost the match, and now against De Voest and he won. So I don't know, it doesn't seem like is has any mysterious meaning...or maybe it's a magic that doesn't always work :haha:

After shoulder, the leg  I hope it's not a big injury.

The thigh apparently :

That's too bad!! Why his injury never stops?? I hope nothing serious. That means he will not play the doubles neither, right? :bigcry:

Hope that he will get well soon :sad:

In l’Equipe:
I don’t get it because the title says he’s doubtful for Wimbledon and then it says the contrary.
He had already felt a little problem on Monday and his leg was hurting on Tuesday morning during the training. The doctor told him it will take 10 days to recover, which means he would be able to play in Wimbledon. He’ll go back to Marseille in the meantime.

10 days in Marseille , it's perfect to prepare Wimbledon ! lol
I prefer to laugh, but it's pathetic. He doesn't have any hopes for this tournament.

Thanks.....“une petite lésion”....what kind of injury exacty it is? a pull due to tiredness of the muscle? it seems not that too serious as i thought, but since the grass season is so short, even 10 days' rest means no preparation for Wimbledon now!

Oh I just saw the video about Grosjean withdrew from the game on TV... Surprised that Hong Kong TV stations would run news of him...!! same here! it's said about only 15 mins after the match started, Grosjean withdrew. And it showed they massaged his thigh for a while before he left...

Hi Kelly! :wavey: quite long time haven't talked with u..how r u lately?

:sad:I should say sorry to Grosjean coz I "left" him behind for two years and I was very into Horse Racing since I like the Belgian jockey Christophe Soumillon so much.

But after a night in Marseille last summer, I thought of him a lot and recently my frd talked about tennis with me (she likes Federer), plus I am studying more and more French, so I think of being more active again, esp when he's 30 (already)- closer to his retirement.

I am so afraid to see him retire, but no matter what, I can't miss it, altho I don't want to face it - which I know he will have to do it (it's just a matter of soon or later)...

I studied French because of Grosjean (not 100% but at least 75%). It is interesting that I used to rely on some translation software to read the French articles you guys posted but now I can understand most of them by myself.

(sorry it's like a confession :p Time flies, I have finished my bachelor degree and now working as a journalist!)

 Kelly - You don't need to confess to me, coz I also haven't been on MTF for almost 2 years (well, came very rarely only for posting some photos I took from the tournaments i went, and that's it). I went to Australian Open this year, and finally watched his three "memorable" matches  He played so well...even the match lost to Blake when having two sets leading :speakles: I never realized he is so popular in Australia that every of his match is full of the crowds!! I even can not find a place to sit down!! And it's good to see he is very nice to all the fans, gave the autographs to almost every one after winning. And....yes...that's really fantastic experience

And do you still remember Bix(XUZIZHEN)? She has been in Paris for almost half year. She went to Open 13 this year..well, just for one day, and Seb lost.....She planned to watch RG, but Seb didn't play...at least she wanted to watch his doubles match playing with Guga, but didn't have luck to get the ticket finally. Let's see if she has better luck on TMS Paris at the end of the year, and she would like to ask him about the retirement thing if there's any chance.

BTW, i've been learning French for almost 2 years (not the same purpose as you though, haha)....now we can share the study experience. :p

Oh... I haven't seen him play in any tournament, therefore I long for some luck to do it! I saw that the tickets for the China Open is on sale now, but how can I know if Seb is there and if I am able to take a holiday during that period!?

Yea I remember Zizhen. I really envy her :p I wish I could stay in Paris for such a long time as well!

It will be great if she can ask about the retirement and write a lil report here ;) I think everyone is quite nervous about it.

I wish I can see Seb in flesh and get an autograph of him, as well as speaking French with him, even a "Bonjour".

There are some early commitments have been announced. The full list guess will only be out after Wimbly or even later. I will let you know once any good news, but don't be optimistic, because he never put it in his schedule before.

 Zizhen met a lot of trouble in Paris actually...... ;) yep, I will tell her to post a report if she has the chance to do so. Wish her good luck!

You should have let me know earlier before I went to Mel! LOL, i've asked 4 autographs from him....(well, 3 of them to bring to the other seb fans), then I could ask one more for u (Seb must doubt I am too fanatic to his autographs  )... I hope to watch his live match again coz I really enjoyed them (well...tortured for some moments)! Let's see sometime we can go together, or even with ZiZhen, she will come back to Shanghai end of this October....that must be a lot of fun!! :woohoo:
