Ernest has let the public and the nerves get to him. Trying s&v for the first time when trying to avoid bp

Llodra is gaining confidence in his strokes, watch out for this match to get close. 6-4 5*-6 now

Ernest holds it steady by taking the tb and go 2-0 up.
Jankovic finally wraps up her match.

:bounce: We're ready for what the French call "le choc du jour". I really hope Paulo can make it a match!

good tournament for Gulbis if he wins that match against Llodra also

but Llodra did also well so far, but 0-2 sets down now

thanks for the info, I didn't know that - haven't seen him play much.
He didn't try it for 2 sets, that's why I thought it a bit silly to go for it on a tight point. (if he had made the volley, of course it wouldn't have been silly ;))

Third set he indeed is moving forward a bit more.

Chardy :sobbing: could have won that first set

Aurora

rain delay again.

Nadal has eased through first set, I found it surprising how quickly he wanted to go in - would've thought he'd like to get as much games on the board as possible.

Chardy up a break and 0-40 in second set - ALLEZ.

courts are covered - will they walk back on today?

Aurora

covers are off again!
19h04 : La pluie s'est calmée. Le personnel d'entretien revient pour débâcher les courts.
