What is Tennis Tipping?
In the game, participants pick the winners of all main draw matches and are placed in a knock-out system. That means each participant plays a different participant and whoever predicted the winner of most matches correctly, moves on to the next round. The same applies for doubles, but you're in a team format and your scores are combined.
Note:
- In case of a tie, a tie-breaker will decide who moves on to the next round.

- In case a player (i.e. the actual ATP Player) retires in a match, this match will be counted as long as one point has been played. If players are replaced by a lucky loser after the start of Tennis Tipping, these matches will be cancelled.
How to Sign-Up:
Just post here that you would like to play. You can only play one tournament per week. Entries will be based on ranking. Everyone can commit. :D

How to send in picks:
Picks can be sent in as soon as the draws are ready. Remember, you pick a winner in every match! Picks should be sent by PM, so that your opponent does not know your picks. Picks should be titled: [TT: The person managing this tournament is hot and awesome, day #]. Picks can be sent in anytime until the beginning of play each day. If you're still in both singles & doubles, you use the same tips for both. For doubles, you still tip the ATP singles matches, not the doubles!
No changes can be made after the play has started. It will be highly appreciated if you send in only the last names of the players. See the example below.

Record crowds flocked to the Nottingham Open as a star studded line up took to the courts, but the big names failed to impress on a day of upsets. With the tournament having a somewhat low reputation, it was a surprise to see 13 of the top 14 players in the world all competing, though fans were left questioning their commitment at the end of the day. Top seed greatkingrat produced the perfect response to losing his world #1 spot by easing past a very poor challenge from TMJordan, a result which should see him regain the position at the summit when the new rankings are released on Monday. This is due to a surprising loss for keqtqiadv, who looked jaded after his exploits in Halle as he slumped to a defeat against journeyman ZackBusner, though he will have the chance to exact revenge on greatkingrat for nabbing his top spot when they meet in the opening round of the doubles event.
In other shocks, 3rd seed scythe19pro followed her husband out the tournament, as Marksman rolled back the years to thrill his home crowd and complete a memorable victory. Despite being semi-retired in TT, the Brit still has the class to compete at the top and will be a dangerous floater at Wimbledon. 4th seed Labamba strangely opted to change the habit of a lifetime by arriving at the tournament venue well before play was due to start, and was made to pay as he was stunned by Bulgarian propaganda. 5th seed Tytta!.'s slump continued as she suffered another early exit at the hands of Foosimoo, leaving her position at the top of the Champions Race under threat. The result left many TT pundits questioning whether she was the female answer to Samson due to the sharp decline in her results since trimming her hair. Serbia's Troickitard came into her match against Vicek full of confidence when she saw her lucky umpire in the chair but was edged out in an extremely tight battle, and Forever-Delayed bowed out after Gerard made the most of his late entry into the draw and booked his place in round 2. Only 6th seed qczi joined greatkingrat as a surviving seed in the last 16, as he comfortably defeated qualifier aussie_fan.
In a clash between two fallen giants, it was A_Skywalker who came through, extending Tomek's atrocious grass court record. Though both are former Roland Garros champions and most comfortable on the clay clay, the match was of impressively high quality, with the Bulgarian's slightly greater confidence on the surface seeing him through. Smasher overturned the scoreline from last week as he saw off Björki, benefiting from the added crowd support since he started competing under the British flag. Duncan was the 4th Brit into the 2nd round by easing past Jeronimo, whose mind seemed to be elsewhere, perhaps on altering his CV to claim the vacant TT board position. Zirconian was distraught after seeing his beloved Jeronimo lose, and couldn't keep his emotions in check, letting marcelwks put a smile back on Polish sports fans faces after their dire Euro 08 performances. GlennMirnyi seems to be following the path of his idol and becoming a doubles specialist and was beaten by TommyB. Also in that section, Deboogle!. paid the price for taking tactical advice from her twin and was ousted by gaynor. Elsewhere, Caralimon emerged victorious from an all Argentinian encounter by defeating FiBeR in a bad tempered match, and Allez-Alejo squeezed past tal20.
In the post match interviews, many journalists didn't hold back with their criticism, questioning the top stars' decisions to come here and put in such an apparent lack of effort. Strangely, almost all gave the same answer, stating that it was either here or S'dfgreowflrefcbosch, and with the much feared ExcaliburII and GustavoM_Fan playing in Holland, it seemed sensible to come to Nottingham despite the poor organisation.

Nottingham scoreboard isn't working, but someone who posts at Britishtennis.net is at Nottingham and is texting scores (but probably will only be at the end of a set and only on the British players matches)

I can't find a winner for Bamford-Eaton :scratch: I think I've worked out the rest of the winners, update coming.....
No-one knows who won the match unfortunately, as it finished before the livescore started working, while the guy at Nottingham didn't see any of the match and doesn't know the score.
We think it finished it straight sets given how quickly the 4th match of the day got onto that court, but we'll have to wait until GGL plays again to find out who won, and then probably the end of the day to find out the score

We'd have lost in the quarter finals anyway, so it's just saves us the bother of wasting all our time.
Croatia are winning it anyway, so at least we failed to qualify by losing to the eventual champions :)
(We lost 3-2 to them with 9 first choice players out.... how did the German full team get on against them...;))

i think people got drowned to picking him because of the H2H (last year he won relatively easily to Querrey on Wimbledon 2007..)
but i think Querrey really improved a lot.. and Falla ..well.. he lost to Boggo, (who's not a bad player on his good days) :shrug: but you never know
I picked Querrey.. anyway, let's hope for the outcome :p

But he tanked against Boggo as he knew beforehand he would get in as a Lucky Loser :)
And Querrey's record on a grass court is less than impressive... I mean, after losing to Patience last week, there's no way he's a reasonable pick against Falla who can play on grass
