Well done Raf. Hopefully those blisters won't be too much of a bother to him.

He was fantastic today and it's not like Nieminen played bad. There was just nothing he could do.

Now finally he will have a da off.

  he'll lose his stamina with so much rest and will struggle to find his rhythm back :scared: :scared:

He won the second set 6-3 and when she says at the end of the second it's just comon sense to see that he wasn't trailing.

Nice day at the office.

The blisters didn't look anything close to what they did in Rome. I wouldn't be worried about that, he just had them re-taped. It's the warmest it's been out there, his feet were probably sweaty. His movement was fine the entire match.

Now he finally gets a day off.

One day rest and two day before the semifinals. This is always the case for one part of the draw at the French Open.

he has won his three matches in a row pretty easily and fastly , his confidence is as high as the sky right now, just almagro could test him a little before semis.

Thanks. Someone posted earlier in another thread that Rafa would get now 2 days to rest. It's better for him to have 2 days to rest before his SF match I guess.

Wonderful to see Rafa in full flow on the red clay. Unfortunately I couldn't watch his last 2 matches but reading about the wins he had is good to note is form has improved after the 1st rd.
Vamos Rafa the greatest !

Just one day rest. It would be 2 if again the schedule is screwed by the rain. But it is better a day rest and according to the plan 2 days before the semis and playing first the semifinal.

Rafa's playing against the absolutely worst possible competition and even add to the fact that they are playing really bad. they try for a set then they just let go.

I hope he doesn't get used to it and the moment he plays someone willing to fight it out with him he'll break down.

Doubtfull though, as I expect and want another Fedal final.

The finn should have done the decent thing and retired in the middle of the 2nd set after getting passed in no man's land by nadal's sliced backhand. Clay-Court King sees all and is too good!

The scoreline flatters Nadal a bit. Of course he was by far the better player, but Jarkko was not quite this bad.

Winning games from 40-40 on anyone's serve, that's the key.

Djoko hasn't impressed me today and he will surely have to up his playing level to have ANY chance against Rafa.

:tape: All the top guys are playing fairly poor competition. I can think of at least one other player whose draw has been easier :D

This match was not so good. Only good thing that he made it in about two hours.

But most his shots were slow. With that he will get problems against the better opponents. He must raise his power again and start doing more winners or really agressive shots.
