It seems Robby has learned how to play on clay in two weeks...

Seems like almost every US "clay clown" had his run in some clay tournament this year (Querrey, Roddick, Blake, Ginepri).

idolwatcher1

All he needs is just a brain.
His brain is just fine when his nerves aren't busy screwing it up... Everytime he tightens up, the pressure gets to him, or he allows personal demons to dominate his thoughts, he starts making a bunch of unforced errors... of course it's going to look like he doesn't have a brain, but I think in order to make an honest assessment of any player, you have to watch them play multiple matches, and make note of when that player is playing their best, and when they are playing their worst...

Congrats to Robby for an awesome win!! :worship:

Yep. I was kind of surprised actually, that he is that thin, but I put my arms around his waist and gave him a good squeeze to make sure. This was last year, he's gained a tiny bit of weight since then because he's not training every day, but he's still tall and thin to me. :)

Yes, ESPN2 (Dick Enberg & PMac commentating) mentioned that Robby had been working with Higueras since last year, but that Roger had started working with him also (they showed him in the stands during Roger's match). They never mentioned anything about Robby & Roger training together though.

And get this... they also mentioned that Robby told them, before the match, that he's actually starting to enjoy playing on clay  and that he's "sad" that this is the last major clay court tournament of the year... :speakles:
