Isner :smash:
This match should have been over in three sets but john blew many opportunities.

Credit to Chela though. He seemed to have not panicked.

Losing to Isner on clay in a best-of-5 match would have been a new low for Chela but he managed to turn it around. Is it his first time coming back from 0-2 sets?

delay worked for Chela, or he got used to the serve maybe

now he meets Verdasco in 2nd Round

Weird scoreline in this three-days match.

John :o

Had 0-40 and two 15-40s in the third set to break, one at 4-4 in the third which would have sealed it.

3 of 20 bps converted :(

Meh.

No, he came back from 0-2 down against Becker last year at Wimbledon (his first five-set win). Was 0-8 in 5-setters, now is 4-8.

WOW! I thought Isner would give Chela trouble. Never expected John to blow a two-set lead. 0/9 BP chances in the third.

Nice one John.

Becker did not choke that match, Chela was the one who almost choked at the end.

Well done Juan :yeah: But if you lost two sets against Isner on clay, I don't want to know what will Fernando do with you

Being broken at least 3 times by Isner on clay= pathetic. :haha:
