RG R1: Verdasco def. Ventura 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-7(6), 6-1

The fourth set is pretty much the only thing worth noting about this one. Verdasco was up 3-1 but then it was 3-3. Verdasco then served for the match at 5-4 and was broken. In the tiebreak Ventura was up 6-4 and the SB ended the tiebreak. They ended up going to a fifth after all.

In the fifth, Verdasco immediately got a break. Ventura had a point to break back, lost it and only won 1 game after that.
