Baghdatis is poor on clay and is just back from injury. An expected result in all honesty. Good that he is back playing tennis and the main thing is remain fit, try and keep motivated and if he can do that the results will follow.

As for Bolelli; still good to get the win and he has a very good draw here. A realistic shot at winning two or three more matches and really raising his ranking.

I just hope now he can prepare to defend all of his Grasscourt points (which I expect him to do)

Simone has been one of the most impressive youngsters this clay season and he's nicely affirming the faith I have/had in him.

But good win by Bolelli. I saw of the match and he was firing all over the place again. Such big shots all the time. Kinda like Blake but Bolelli is willing to slice sometimes, Blake never slices. I think Bolelli has opponents that fit his game, I wouldn't want to see him playing a very solid guy like Monaco, Robredo, Ferrer etc.

For most of these commentators tennis ends at the ATP tournament level. What's actually worse is when they make comments such as "he has barely played any matches in the last few years", "he has very little match experience" and start wondering whether the player has been injured when they are faced with a player who plays challengers year-round.

It's still better than some commentators here saying that Kuerten has been playing with protected ranking and that he won't win a title in the near future with such display as with PHM. When they saw the farewell ceremony they were :eek:

Baghdatis is very bad for this time and I think he don't defend his points on Wimbledon..... For Bolelli i think Del Potro defeat him, if he don't have injury

Baghdatis off form, and very , very tough opponent this Bolleli. Maybe the toughest non seed.
I saw some parts of the match, and I am really amazed of the skills and shots Simone has.

Bolelli played lovely tennis.Now Del Potro is a serious test for him.
