Lindstedt did his best to ruin it. No good doubles-specialist choker. Thx to the Toad being crazy for the win and the Russians' nerves we won anyway.:worship:

Söderling vs. Monaco is going to be real interesting now. Match of the R128 at RG?

I'm not sure but probably for the first time in history of WTC the winning team saved MP in the final.

Sorry guys

Why Sweden keeps picking indoor carpet for DC ties?! Clay suits them much better, after all, Russia won DC on clay!

Great performances by Robin all week. Obviously he will now lose to Monaco in straight sets.
Or will he prove me wrong and show some consistency when it matters the most?

Congrats to Robin, too bad the WTC title doesn't count as an official ATP title, as it would have been his first one on clay.

world team cup = fun tournament and no pressure
official atp tournament = pressure

we all know how soderling plays with pressure in his back. that's why he did well in dusseldorf.

i know but still i would consider it an unofficial title.
if WTC and Davis cup counts. Karlovic should have had 5 titles instead of three
.(he is a part of the team that won DC in 2005 with ivanesevic, ljubicic and ancic and he also won WTC where he played an important part in both singles and doubles.)
Yes Same thing massu. He won WTC and Olympics.(even though olympics did count for him and gonzo.)
Some players does well as team rather than individual efforts.

Props to the Swedes.

Methinks they deserved this cup more than us.
