A little unexpected. But Kei lost a set 1-6 to Aranguren in R1. RG may be not his favourite surrounding.

Looks like Kei isn't quite as strong on clay as he said he was.

Expected. Tarzan Greulin is too good on clay for Nishikori. :)

he is a product of Bollitieri`s academy. on the average, his graduates cannot play on clay and are usually quite one dimensional.

the only exceptions over the years from this academy were Agassi and Courier who were head and shoulders above the rest anyway in every way. they both had incredible drives and mental toughness to go along with their ridiculous ground games.

Kei is still young - he has plenty more chances so its not really a bad loss for him.
