hi im pretty new to tennis (played about a 16months now)
i had a low budget with my second racquet too but i started saving up for a new one. My first racquet was worth 80 dollars and the second one i bought was 180 dollars but the difference between the two is vast. i think you should save up money and buy a good quality racquet you wont regret it. well atleast i didnt

Ok, what about something under $120 then. Is there something descent for this price?.

you're new? go out and buy the cheapest racquet you can find. don't spend more than thirty five bucks. use it for a few months, make sure you like the game. learn the rules, work on your style, and learn as much as you can. the internet is a great resource for all things, if you don't want to spend money on a personal coach to help you with technique, just make some room in wherever you live, and log on to youtube. when you decide you're ready for an upgrade (which will take maybe two or three months) THEN go for an expensive racquet. and come back and check with us b4 u buy one, just because you don't want to end up with an expenisve stick of shit.

Good luck friend.
