Prodon stopped to hit DF's when he was down 1-4* - that's all. Both players showed a lot of drop shots and clever tennis.

How on earth Pujol lost I have no idea even I was a eyewitness.Prodon can't hold a serve even when he was 30 and 40-0 up got broken due to double fault,Imagine to be *4-1 up and lost when your oponnent can't hold a got damm serve even one time.He had some chances like in in eith game when he saved two bp and had gp but then make the most stupid smash I ever seen stright on Prodon rocket and lost a point. In later games Erick felt a chance to win and hold serve second time in a row which was qutie a new experience for him;)In fact to take a 5-4 lead he held to love:eek:That was a big diference when compare two breaks in a row form 40-0 and 30-0:eek:And in tenth game Marcel was out of any hope and lost without any fight.Pujol played not so bad but he makes almost every time not so good choices of shots.Too much unforced errors. In all he's a big time chocker absolutely no sign of fighter atitiude. After all I still can't belive he lost that match too bad he closing my ticket:rolleyes:Even some Vamos Marcel wasn't help much:angel:

I saw 3rd set of Max Gonzalez and Micha Zverev and I havte to say that was good sort of REAL tennis battle,Maximo looks to tired But he's a fighter,Misha too.At *4-5 and mp Misha placed second serve right on the line even half a ball was outside and then fired a graet atack volley that was something;)Misha won thanks to his power and regularty of shots, more energy in deciding moments and bit of luck.I have to mentioned that Maximo saved two match points in a very nice style. In all good clash of two smart tennis players when detail was a factor to gain a win of each other.

Darcis take this tournament. He was one level high with another players. Janowicz very very poor... Very good matches yesterday - Zverev - Maximom and GGLopez-Junqueira. Kubot - no comment :) Vanek solid and this has enough for Kubot.
Also Grannolers-Prodon is quite good match, they both play very well.
Przysiezny easy won ;)

Today win - GGLopez, Darcis, Vassallo, Zverev.

I just want you to know one thing. I was watching live match between Prodon and Przysiężny.As I expected after 1st round matches(I was watching both) Prodon was 2-3 levels higher if we talk about tennis skills. Bh return winners, drop shots, smart play, powerful bh's and fh's which were landing 5-10cm's from the line(in court) that's Prodons play. Pole was absolutely weak, not focused and didn't have any strong arguments to win. I left the court when Frenchman was up 6-1 2-1*. For me that clash was over. I didn't want to waste my time to watch horrible Przysiężny playing. I was talking with Jean-Julien Rojer, when a friend told me that Prodon leads 4-1*. It was so simple for me. Afted I finish my talk with doubles player I saw that scoreboad shows 6-1 4-6. I couldn't believe. Asked my friend, who was watching it live what happened, but he also didn't know the answer. Prodon stopped playing powerful tennis, his hits were landing 3-4 meters from the net. Przysiężny was only serving...and Prodon was making the result good for Pole. I'm shocked, I feel like someone stole my pocket or sth. That result doesn't show tennis skills. It's a result of buying a match(perhaps Main Organizer of the tournament). I've never believed in 'buying or fixing', but today I'm sure that match was fixed.

I don't think that match was fixed. After 4:1 in 2nd set Prodon's level dropped but Michal started to play better too. Prodon was fighting and complaining a lot. If it was fixed, he really deserves an Oscar for being such a great actor.

Michał can play horrible stuff, we all know that, but we also know he can play like an estabilished top 50 player sometimes, and we all know the basic sport's psychology - when you think your match is won and your opponent has nothing to lose, it can be sometimes a turn-around moment, and you may be not able to come back to the match. Gulbis vs. Acasuso the latest example and a few Calleri's matches to be mentioned as well.

Don't compare Michal to Calleri or Gulbis. Say what you want. For me Przysiezny is not a fighter. And he can't play like top50 player for sure:wavey: Prodon can play like top80 player, but if he sells matches like this, he will no reach it.

Prodon is known for his mental lapses though. If he wants to win, he can be unstoppable. The problem is that he is a complete joker most of the times.

I am seriously sorry you lost a bet, but the fact is, 98% of these players in top 300-400 have a top 100 potential. Most of them don't make it for various reasons, and sometimes "if he didn't drink/didn't have injuries/had better attitude" are not able to be overcome. I've seen like a hundred of Przysiężny's matches on different tournaments in Poland and abroad since 2003 and yes, he *can* play like a top 50 player, not only for a few balls, but also for the whole matches.

In fact, none of us saw what really has happened in that match during turn-around. I've heard about something that also Dragon99 posted - Przysiężny started to play a bit better and Prodon went nervous. These two players have a very similar potential, and it's a matter of a day which one wins. How streaky Michał is even in his prime, showed the last US Open match against Berrer. He could give a set without a fight, and could win sets outplaying Berrer thanks to his own game, and not the German's mistakes. I think it was a 5 setter that he finally lost. He could lose to Prodon as well as Prodon had bps in the last game, but Michał finished with a forehand winner, end of the story.

Both Poles are losing in the next round unfortunately .

I don't tell you about my bet, but about imo fixed match. I saw Prodon, who beat Granollers in 1st round after fast, pretty and long match. I saw Michał winning after close match against Olejniczak, who has no net play, no brain on court and no baseline play. Prodon is 2 leveld higher than Michał if we talk about skills. Przysiężny has a strong serve and risky bh. That's all. Prodon is a complete player and in a sport fight on court Pole has no chance against him. That's all.

Forgive my amateur thinking, but if it were only skills, wouldn't Federer won last Wimbledon? ;) Thank God tennis IS much more complex than "who has better shots".

Cant hear anymore this bs coming out from Nathalia's mouth. Przysiężny aint shit. It was so obvious he recieved a free gift today from a player with no heart and desire. He was outplayed and outclassed by Prodon till this frenchie fixer wanted to play. At some point he decided to stop and we know what the end was. Yeah know everyones entitled to their opinion but if you say Przysiezny won because he was the better player you know shit.

Yep, it is about who wants it more. Prodon aint want it at all.

I feel sorry even more for people who lost their bets. In case you didn't bet on it, you should be happy a Polish player won, in whatever way. What I can do for you is that I promise I'll speak to Przysiężny in Szczecin and will ask him, and if it turns out to have been fixed, I'll bump this thread to give you satisfaction and then I will apologize.

So far, assumptions are no proofs for me.

Are you kiddin me ? I should be happy that he won a fixed game ? Do you know what is sport all about ? I want to be proud when my compatriot wins, not ashamed. Guess how todays match made me feel.

I left the central court when Minar was up 6-1 *4-5. In 1st set he was solid, a lot of points from volleys, good serve. Beto didn't have an idea, how to hit a good passing shot, or lob. He was not as regular as he usually is. A lot of volley and fh winners from Minar. In 2nd set Beto Martin stopped making UE's, played longer, Minar was running 1-2 meters from the baseline. Czech started missing fh shots. I don't know how they looked in decicing set.

If possibilities are similar(like here) I believe in that :) I know that a lot of players came back from 1-5 00-40. But they were fighters, not Przysiężny against much better this week Prodon. I also asked Schukin did he watch the match and can he tell me tennis is clean. He told that he saw it, that Prodon is very talented. He told that if we talk about clean tennis - everything can happen. Regards,

Minar had some chances to break to serving for the match at 5 all in 2nd set wasted it and start squat after more than a 5 shots rally every time.I suppose that if he lost second set he lost the 3rd easy but at the begining of final set Martin level of play decreased dramatically.Czech take advantage of that and was 2 breaks up.But then Minar lost ability to put 1st serve in.And Martin want to take adventage to this Czech problems he was running Minar to the corners all over the court and Ivo was in big trouble he start to look dead tired but try to fight at 4-3 had some chances but wasted it again he just can't handle any rally makes more and more ue and just lost.I wasn't BIg miracle only a litle bit.;)This year Porsche Open has many miracles like breaks form 40 or 30 love up or lost matches form two breaks up:D

Pashanski told that he didn't loose to Phau, but to umpire.

Phau started the match with some bh winners and good serve. Pashanski was shouting:''every fucking ball is in''. Phau was up 3-0 *40-30, but Boris came back to 2-3*. At 2-4(I guess:rolleyes:) Phau hit bh cross winner. Pashanski asked umpire to check the mark. He was sure the ball was out, but she(umpire) told him it was in. He started argueing and shouting, but after 5-6 minuted the play was resumed. When it was 4-5 30-40* Phau hit bh winner down the line. Boris asked umpire to check it. She told him it landed in. The racket was thrown and he left the court. He was angry. When Phau was up 2-0(or 2-1:rolleyes:) in 2nd set we saw a similar story. Phau hits Bh cross winner, Boris checks and asks umpire to come down. Pashanski was asking a God to help her with the decision but she(umpire) said the ball was....in:rolleyes: Boris exploded.

Umpire:''It's in, bacouse it was bh cross and the mark shows it touched the line''
Boris:''What's wroooooong with youuuuuuuu??!!For me he could hit it from the sky, but it's out!! I'm not loosing to him, but to your blindeness!! Woman - umpire, who had ever seen that?? You should change your job, bacouse you don't know nothing abut tennis''
He also told sth to supervisor:''If the ball was in, call me an idiot till I die''
And many other things :) He also said the result was indifferent to him, bacouse he can't win against refferies and bad decisions.
At 2-4 he started to joke. 1st serves landed in a baseline or near the court :tape: He was soooo furious :o But bad mood changed for a good play and He was up 5-4 30-00*. When it was 30-15*, Phaus 1st serve landed in the net and 2nd was wide(5cm's out). Boris didn't stop the point, lost it, came back to the mark and couldn't believe his eyes. Shouting, arguing...
In TB Pashanski was up *3-1, and than hit the DF. Than Phau had 2 MP's and...hit the DF as well. Bh cross winner by PAshanski and it was 6all. After changing sides, Serb had one serve more and...hit the DF. Finally Phau won 9-7, but who knows what the result would be if close points were won by Boris. Good show anyway :) Tomorrow I'll put PAshanski screaming to a youtube.

Not yet, not with that play ;) But I made an interview with Rojer, he's a nice guy, they'll be playing together, and have a coach from Dallas. GL to them.

When it was 3-3 in the 1st set (Phau-Devilder) I started to count UE's. There were 35 of them till the end.

He was a good college player and he played doubles with Matkowski, I believe they were the best college doubles team in their time.

True. Told me that if I have money to sponsor him, he can play for Poland :D

btw, are there any lists to Szczecin?
