I think he hasn't retired yet, otherwise he wouldn't be signing for the tournaments, but fact is he hasn't been playing, maybe he is struggling against an injury. He had good results last year, his rankig is the proof since he played so few events.
Surprising was Vik's retirement.

Yeah, Vik retiring was :o

I saw him for the last time at Wimbledon  I guess he didn't want to bother to fight his way back up by playing Futures.

Oops, did I mean to say 150k + H?

Anyway, one of the WC's goes to 2007 champ Lojda, who will probably slide down the rankings after this. And so far it looks like Ulihrach's gonna play. At least a reason to visit the tourney :)

Mayer is in really deep shit, he was on a 9 match losing streak before getting injured, and he has most of his ranking points to defend (three big challenger finals) in the coming period, so he will fall out of the rankings completely.

no, trust me, nothing serious... :D it was very bad weather - cold, rainy... Labadze was angry, he wanted to suspend the match, but the umpire hasnt done it, so Irakli decided to retire... he is ok, even if he called the trainer because of the back (this is gonna be the official reason), but just did not want to go on...

it was quite surprising Labadze retiring since he won a 5 sets marathon over Lacko at Davis Cup tie, which suggests he is "fit" :tape: and then he played the doubles match in the day after, so we guess the 5 sets matchs didn't push him so hard.

Does anybody know what is the correct result?

Awww, Olej.

I wish Rosol could be the 2008 Lojda. Vamos.

I think Rosol will go deep here, this clay season he had some good winning streaks as he qualified for some tough challengers beating good players, but he fell short of a great result. This time he didn't have to qualify and he is only two wins away from the final.

Rosolin has a chance against Ulihrachin, but let's see what Dabulin can show :). Rosolin is a choker, though with a very good serve and powerful groundstrokes, this is what I can say for sure.
