besides Hewitt is Youzhny. Beautiful how he points his finger towards the towel while looking pumped.

Nadal makes a gesture like "come here, boy" ;)

:haha: When Hewitt points at a ballboy he does it so fiercely that I would be afraid to give him the towel.

I think Rusedski was quite the pointer in his day.

Yea! Hewitt is pretty scary on the court anyway..
No one comes to mind but i love it when they show it in slow-mo  SOme do this gesture of wiping the face before pointing to the boy. It looks hot:devil:

Haha funny idea for a thread.

I remember when at Wimbledon Ferrero was asking the ballboys for a towel in Spanish, and it took them a few seconds to realise what he wanted. Yet he speaks very good English, so as to why he didn't ask for it in English I'm not too sure. It cracked me up though.

And yeah Hewitt is pretty scary with the towel.

I've always enjoyed Nalbandian's index finger jab for the towel after an amazing point that he's won.

Speaking of Youzhny. When he cut his forehead last night and wiped the blood of with a towel, what do you think the towel kid did with it? I wouldn't want to touch it.

I like Soderling.

He seems very serious when he points.

Murray - not exactly a pointer, but this gesture is hilarious ("I can't see, I can't see!")

Didn't he used to do a waving gesture over his face?

He actually claimed that he'll commit suicide if Fed ever loses #1 in the ranking, so who knows

Hewitt wins this one by far but I remember at a challenger in Brisbane I watched Samuel Groth point to the towel and say to the ballboy towel, then he said towel please, then he raised his voice and said could you please get me the towel.

he ended up getting the towel from the chair himself.

Is David Ferrer a fine towel pointer as well?

Clement manages to exude so much disdain in a single gesture. I've seen him play three times and each time he's managed to ridicule a ballboy/girl to the point of tears. At Queens last year he even asked the umpire if one of the ballgirls was mental! He even asked her to swap with another one cos he didn't like the way she threw balls to him.

And I thought Agassi worked the ballkids hard...

djokovic really has it nailed. when he's losing he approaches the ballkid with an expression that suggests a desperate struggle for mere survival. it resembles a man who has been crawling in a desert for 2 weeks approaching an oasis.

when I'm watching I can't help but stand up and scream at the tv "GIVE HIM THE TOWEL FOR FUCK SAKE! QUICKLY!! HE'S DYING OUT THERE!"

Tommy Haas is great, he gets the towel, wraps it around his face and just screams.

pointing at the towel would be like holding a glass of whisky, for actors, right? There are only a few actors who can hold a glass and look right.

Another vote for Muzzah, even if it's not pointing, I love how he waves his hand in front of his face like he's trying to do some kind of magic trick on himself.

Not really towel pointing, but James Blake will a lot of times say 'thanks' to the ball kids when they give him a towel or balls.

Clement is psychotic about towels. I once saw him gesticulate wildly at a poor bewildered ball kid trying to communicate that Clement wanted the kid to change the towel's orientation from horizontal to vertical before Clement would deign to accept it. The ball kid had some kind of animated conversation with a nearby line judge after that, and you could just imagine what they were saying to each other about Clement.
