Nothing against Acasuso but thats a match for round 1-3. :o Shame on draw and players who played like fools or tank...

Silly statement, nothing about Acasuso, by saying that this isn't worthy of a 4th round match is having a go at him. Not his fault Hewitt wasn't good enough to beat him, oh yeah it was Hewitt's fault actually.

Federer.

Jinxes don't work unless they are threads started by the fans of a player!

Like that 'when will Nole reach number one'. Amazing Jinx power.

If Fish could beat him why can't Acasuso do it?

I like Acasuso, he is probably more powerful than Roger, but I must agree that he has no chance. He lacks the consistency to beat Federer. Even though he'll hit a couple of impressive winners and probably a nice number of Aces, UEs will rain all over him. Roger in 2.

you really dont have a clue, do you?

have you actually seen any of their matches?

acasuso will be more of a challenge than ppl realize.

a top form federer would probably beat anybody on HC, but we are talking top form federer. This post-mono federer and acasuso has played well so far.

if acasuso is such a mug, why dont you get on the court and challenge federer? :retard:

Chucho in 3. In one set Chucho will mentally fade.

I hope Acasuso puts up a good fight. I don't think Soderling's R3 retirement did Federer any favours (less match play, less exposure to conditions), so I'm fascinated to see if Acasuso can make anything of this match. Still, it's highly likely Federer wins in 2.

This will be closer than many here think.

Federer had problems with him in the past, and (1) He usually has problem with players that used to give him problems, and (2) He's not playing well.

This is ridiculous. Have you ever actually watched Acasuso? Ok, he isn't the most consistent player but an in form Chucho can trouble almost anyone.

I do hope he proves it too

Federer in two but there will be a scare or two maybe more than most people are expecting.

Fair call, but I still think the Basler will get the job done in this one.

Well, I'd say no match is cakewalk anyway and this one is certainly not one of them. Yes Fed is the favourite, and yes he might just cruise, but Acasuso has a good chance here.

In fact, I think that goes for every remaining match Roger might have in this tournament.

So much for Federer cruising through this match.

His opponents can now relax on both serves.

That's why I rarely watch Federer's early round matches. It's the same scenario
