Gasquet is very efficient in Champions tie-breaks.

Do you really think Andy or Melzer even cared (hell, or Gasquet or Tsonga for that matter :lol: )... fun day-off hit for the 2 guys left in the event, little paycheck for the two who aren't and nice chance for some fans to see top players up close on a little court :lol: Everyone wins :lol:

No worse than yesterday's match between the Bryans and Nadal/Robredo, actually that one was probably worse. :shrug: They explained on FSN why all the grandstand matches are men's singles - because of worldwide TV obligations. that means no women and no doubles on grandstand

And Roddick most certainly will not. This was a play time match, the match that had more implications for DC was the all French match earlier in the day. I think they are still shuffling their team around, but it will probably be Gasquet, Tsonga, and Llodra/Clement in doubles, right?

PHM is the fifth man. He's not happy about it. He thinks his time would be better spent training and getting ready for the French Open. Forget has no choice in this matter, both Gasquet and Tsonga are ranked ahead, and probably better on the hc. But men, these French players are good at doubles, any combo of the top ranked ones (including Santoro) would probably be able to take out the BB's:confused:

Well, they have to name four. I can't think of a tie where one of the teams only used 2 players for all five matches, but perhaps some of our more accomplished historians here will see your question and give you a better answer.

Seems to be true. Gasquet has got better percentage of wins in doubles (64 %) than in singles (60 %) now. He often chokes in singles but in doubles looks like a mental giant - extremely good record in the champions tie-breaks: 18-4 (81 %).
