Easy task for Byrdshit. He was my pick for QF, but with early exit of Djoker SF is practicaly in his pocket and maybe a F.

Impressive performance from Berdych, he had too much power for Ferrero today.

I know. What's the deal with people doing this?

Anyway, easier than I expected. The match against Tursunov should be interesting. I'm hoping he makes the semis so he can take Nadal out assuming Nadal gets that far.

Another poor month of March for JCF. His performance was summed up by a ton of UEs, miss-hits, lack of energy and lack of focus. He just never seems motivated this time of year no matter how significant the situation is. This was a key match for his future ranking and he was in a nice section of the draw. But yet again he failed to take advantage and was beaten by someone who wanted it a lot more.

Well done Birdman. Was totally on top of things today, controlled all the baseline exchanges and kept JCF down.

I was just trying to make a silly post which someone would anyway make. But I didn't know TV was faster than scoreboard:)

But it seems to be the only way to prevent 6 threads being started on each result. MTF is full of trigger happy posters these days.

25 winners for Berdych, 9 for Ferrero
25 UEs from Ferrero, 19 from Berdych

= 61 63 beatdown.

Crappy performance from Juanqui... :help: better luck on the clay I hope.

Congrats Birdman! Hope he'll do good business in Miami. :hatoff:

Has the sleeper finally awakened? Um...probably not...out with the "New Balls": Guga, JCF, and Safin...Guga is retiring, and the other two need to follow him out the door.

Same story all the time. Berdych plays shit and then, whadda you say, brilliant performance

Let's see how long is it this time

Good match from Berdych, he'll no probably follow it up with a match where he'll move slower than a sloath and sprays balls all over the place. But this was a good solid match from him :yeah:
 Ferrero hope he has some better results later in the season.

Excellent match for Tomas, once he moved well the difference in the weight of shot left no doubt about the outcome. :yeah:

You mean you never watched Berdych play well before? He might very well lose 2 and 3 next round against Tursunov even though I think Tomas will win against Dima.

What a fuck are you all talking about? I wouldn't even dream to post a thread at opponent serve until the match is over. I ve already told you that I was even late with a post at least 5-6 sec after the match ended. I was even sure that I am not going to be first, but had no idea that all of you people are folowing the SB instead of watching the match. SB is late with result changes at least 7-8 sec and often even stucks.

Ouch JCF well and truly got his ass kicked today.
Well done to the Berdman, and with his draw opening up he has a good opportunity in front of him here.

Better luck in the clay season JCF.

I am so sorry for JCF. Ferrero is somebody that I'd like to see doing well.

I watched the first set...JCF didn't look like he wanted to be out there. Berdych handles the heat better i guess.

HoistDaColors, you can hardly use the heat as an excuse. I've seen him play in Melbourne heat, and he seems to handle it fine.

I honestly thought that Ferrero would win this match, I thought it would be close, but Ferrero would come out on top. So this is very disappointing. Ah well, looks like it was a good match from Berdych so congrats to him.

JC just can't wait for Wimbledon

Impressive there by Berdych, only a few crazy shots, which is less than usual. This was a very comfortable victory and the tactics will be on show when he plays some time doubles partner Tursunov.

Great call by the commentators. "I bet Berdych would like to play Ferrero every week".

Understandable, the prestige of starting the thread first is unmatched by anything else life can offer.

And for the last time: I started the thread AFTER the match ended. It is not my fault that you are waiting for SB to update (which is always slower than TV broadcast).
Only time I opened a "premature ejaculation" thread was in AO 2008 Federer-Blake and I did that even before the match started. And that was for making fun of a Kuhne'e related "Ups, Wrong Buton Pressed" opened threads.

I was talking about tennis player's nicknames with my brother the other day. Like why Roger is called The GOAT (or ego-king), or why Novak is called Nole (though I don't understand it myself).

I then told him JCF was Juanqui and he said 'WANKY?'

I was like... uh, yeah. I guess so.

JCF is very dissapointing every time, what remains of a player that was number 1 back in 2003, I think nothing.
