Oh yea, VAMOS! Lucie 06-24-2004, 11:28 AM congrats to coria, did he win the 2 points immediately or did it go to deuce? MissPovaFan 06-24-2004, 11:34 AM It went to 40-30 and then he had a match point overruled and then he won the point as Moodie hit the ball long. tegan 06-24-2004, 12:22 PM i'm pretty sure that if this match had gone on much longer, Guille would have spontaneously combusted! i think he was so sick of looking at that court, that opponent, those officials..... thank god it's finally over! now, what time does his next match start later today?   (just kidding! i hope. ) Neely 06-24-2004, 12:54 PM pretty well done, he's about to become quite a force on grass the more and more is winning... well, Moodie is normally no walkover on grass. Gonzalo81 06-24-2004, 01:24 PM Well done Willy!!!! :worship: COMA 06-24-2004, 01:52 PM LOL, probably the warm-up was longer than the match :p Gonzalo81 06-24-2004, 02:01 PM almost sure of it :) Fostin 06-24-2004, 02:10 PM is he playin today again??? :p Gonzalo81 06-24-2004, 02:16 PM no....I think he´s playing tomorrow :) Lalitha 06-24-2004, 02:49 PM AT LAST!!! Yashirobai 06-24-2004, 02:55 PM He deserved to win it. I hate those matches like 26 76 76 26 10-8 or 76 76 36 76 or those where the winner wins two or more tie-breakers. It's kind of unfair. Coria was the deserving winner today (and yesterday and... :)) Gonzalo81 06-24-2004, 02:58 PM Well said!!:) Jinx 06-24-2004, 08:32 PM Finally.....!! Coria wins what?? the longest match ever!!!! Poor guy!!! Congratulations!!!! Go Coria :worship: and win tomorrow too!!! Carito_90 06-24-2004, 08:44 PM Yay Guille! :woohoo: I knew you were gonna win. Congrats! :) -wokkel- 06-24-2004, 09:44 PM Guille! Well done! daze11 06-24-2004, 09:58 PM he was great; he looked so happy to finally win, it was like he had won the whole tournament! i loved it. guille is totally earnest and hopefully each time, he is getting confident about playing on grass. he was very funny in his post-match interview about being embarrassed from falling over and over again on the grass, but all the great players in history have learned how to play on this surface, and because he is so quick and has such good hands, he should be able to be much more forceful than he has been so far. maybe it will 'click' for him during the tournament this year; you never know when someone has their break-through, and usually they dont know it either!! if he can just hold his seeding, it will be a giant first step to becoming complete. i will be watching every time. PinkFeatherBoa 06-24-2004, 11:15 PM I'm so pleased for Guille, his first win at Wimbledon. Congrats! :yippee: |-Safin_Coria-| 06-24-2004, 11:56 PM yaaaaaaaaaay Coria!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: kill Ginepri tomorrow  Ma. Estefania 06-24-2004, 11:57 PM Finally.... *sighs* | |
