If you lose early, it's not a lot, especially if it is in the same country (i.e. limited travelling).

Ok - I really don't want to offend anyone here - but why is Coria getting all these wild cards, when surely there must be some young, up-and-coming Italian guys who would jump at the chance  I understand he may have made the trip over here to Europe on the promise that he will get the cards (to cover his expenses etc), but it seems unfair when there are so many other people out there desparate for an opportunity. Just my view anyway - and - as I said - don't want to offend anyone -just doesn't seem very fair.

don't worry, i wonder that everyone of us thinks the same...lol

as an Argentine expression says "there aren't two without three" lol, i hope that Guille at least embrace this last wc in Italy to win one match or show that he is at level to come back, he nearlly showed it off at Barletta, thinking that he lost in three sets with the first seed and runner-up defending, but not a Napoli losing at that way,i'm hopeful that he will come back, but i hope that this lost matches in consecutives weeks don't pull him to think about retire, because he was so motivated to come back...!

come on guillee.......you gottt itttttttt!!!

Even with Davis Cup I can't understand why there is only one clay challenger in this week (no ATP tournaments of course).

In the week after this there are THREE ATP clay tournaments with full qualifying draws plus THREE clay challengers. The distribution is just totally stupid.

You don't offend, don't worry but just for you to understand: he was number 3 in the world and he is still an attraction.
He rejects WC offers in Montecarlo and Rome to make it more clear.

SIjsling's results don't look too bad, maybe with a better draw he will qualify for a challenger one of these weeks. He came back from injury last week. It's worth reminding though that more than a year ago he spent an entire year losing in challenger qualifying draws.

Last week it was good, but the score against Cervenak on clay is pretty bad, to be honest.

I dont think anyone (on CH level) can be saying that whilst playing against rock solid Dusan Vemic. Especially not Ventura with his current form.

He's good on American HC tournaments. Clay is definitely not his best surface, and even on HC he's not doing very good this year. Ventura is in a bad form but I'm pretty sure it will be enough to beat Vemic.

I know Ventura is a favourite in this match, the other thing is what I wish to happen ;)

The moment I saw the draw, I was like 'oh,great  Spaniard on clay, lucky Dule'

But who knows...I wanna believe :p

I might be wrong, maybe Ventura is in even worse form than I thought, but Vemic losing to Giovanni Lapentti is what makes me believe it's almost imposible he beats Ventura. Good luck to Dusan though :)
