Alberto Martin will play:

I think you might be surprised ;) I'm not 100% sure of course, but I know that Gaudio is good friends with Mariano Zabaleta, and I understand they have planned this trip to Europe together, as friends as well as just to play tennis, and they have got Franco Squillari with them as a coach. I may be wrong, but I assume that as a former Grand Slam winner, Gaudio would get a Wild Card if he asked nicely! Or maybe he'll just enjoy the scenery while MZ plays :)

a note :

Despite of the rivality with the argentinians, I always support argentinian's tennis players (lalegionargentina), specially Gaudio and Coria.
But, nowadays, the organization of the tournment will "spend" two wildcards with players who don´t want/can't play anymore. I would give these wildcards for two young italian tennis players (with a condition: don´t bet!!! ;)), trying to increase the italian tennis.
But, of course, the tournment will be more economic valuable with Gaudio and Coria. I would bet that they don´t win a game!!!

When I said that they can´t play, it´s because their physical (Coria´s serve is, nowadays, ridiculous in a professional game. It must be the "espalda" problem), not because their skills and ages.
Of course, I support the brazilian players, but I admire and prefer the argentinians players instead of the rest of the world.

coria is young, he has decided to start from 0, his problem is not physical, is mental, and it's showed by his serve, but now he has nothing to lose, but it's a long process, where he will win he will lose, but it's all part of the process for his come back, i'm really sure he will be there at top players!

about gaudio he is so tallented but his mind is the biggest problem, i enjoy watching him....hope he comes back too and not retire....

good luck for both of themm!!

But for the fourth WC I'm not sure it will be Gaudio because in an article one week ago they said that Coria and Gaudio had the first WC's.
And when I saw Zabaleta OUT for me Gaudio doesn't accept the WC because they had plan to travel together.

Which means I guess your boy will win  This is only Matteo's second match after that long break suffering with glandular fever (or mono to everyone outside the UK I think!). After watching Federer struggling last night, I think a long 3-setter will be too much for him. All good practice and experience though I guess

Well, Marco hasn't really been playing two consecutive matches for a while  And he isn't mentally stable :tape: But I hope he can win it

I'm a big fan of both guys :D I don't bet though ;)

I think Jérémy should beat Galvani. But I think Marcos will overpower Flavio  They know each other's games well (were in the same team in the German Bundesliga), and Flavio struggles with powerhitters like Marcos. Moreover, allegedly Flavio isn't doing well physically
