HOW IT WORKS

Ranking points work in this way:

CHAMPION : 25 points
RUNNER-UP : 20
3rd : 16
4th : 13
5th : 11
6th : 10
7th : 9
8th : 8
9th : 7
10th : 6
11th : 5
12th : 4
13th : 3
14th : 2
15th : 1

Ties in both the round standings and the overall standings are split by considering the highest constituent score, if that is the same then the second-highest, etc.

If there's a complete tie in any position, each player earns the average of points of the corresponding positions.

I wonder what statistical phenomenon keqtqiadv's picks are subject to, he scored points every round last season and this season too but never more than 13

After three rounds TMJordan leads JMG. keqtqiadv continues his record of scoring points every round.

After fourth round, TMJordan extended his lead a little but there are a lot of contenders waiting behind. keqtqiadv continues his run of 18 consecutive rounds of points scored.

TMJordan finally gets his first place after already having a second and third place this season, he never finished worse than 6th.

JMG follows behind. TankingTheSet continues his all-or-nothing results from last year (maybe due to risky picks?), while consistent performers like Boarder35m, diego36arg, Labamba and keqtqiadv are slowly creeping up the rankings. keqtqiadv has never failed to score since CC began (19 times in a row).

After the seventh round TMJordan still leads, but Masta_Rue is making great progress having only played four times. keqtqiadv has scored 21 times in a row.

After eight tournaments keqtqiadv is getting closer to the lead.

Ps. Sorry about the dot on the leaderboard.:p

With TMJordan having a few bad rounds, keqtqiadv takes over the lead with another break-through performance. Behind, JMG has closed the gap to TMJordan, while Labamba is slowly creeping up the rankings with placings around 6th place almost like clockwork.

diego36arg moves up the rankings with his win. Some newcomers to the game are doing very well.

After Labamba's win the top of the leaderboard is getting crowded, many players are in contention for the lead. :D Renaud has made a big jump after only two real participation. Not a good period for myself, I am starting to lose contact with the top contenders.

In the twelfth round keqtqiadv and JMG extended their lead a little, most points went to players outside the top 8.

Only keqtqiadv, JMG and Labamba have scored every round this year.

After thirteen rounds nobodies is running away with it, the top of the leaderboard is getting closer. Labamba has made a nice move.

After the 14th tournament Labamba get closer again. Early season leader TMJordan has had a horrible run.

Txillardegi is listed twice, will be fixed next week.

Seventeen round completed: JMG takes over the lead. It's close at the top, Labamba also made ground. keqtqiadv had two bad rounds but still managed his record of scoring every round.

Labamba and keqtqiadv took full advantage of JMG's absence this week, and Labamba takes the lead for the first time this season.

Late update of round 19, some fractions were lost in previous updates, Labamba leads by 0.5 point...

Round #20 and #21 updated. keqtqiadv has taken a nice lead. JMG and Labamba are second and third, and are joined by Boarder35m as a possible title contender. Although a late starter, Gavnich77 is showing a promising average score

It was very close a few times (14th/15th place)
This season apart from keqtqiadv Labamba has also scored every time.

In the 24th round, keqtqiadv forgot to post picks and Labamba took advantage, taking eight points, but it could have been worse. Although keqtqiadv loses his record of scoring every round since the beginning of CC, he can still say he scored in every round he competed in, which is also pretty unique. Also interesting is the victory by TMJordan, ending a long bad streak that started virtually in the spring. RezNik did very well in the last two weeks, scoring two second places in a row, a feat that only the top four in the standings (Labamba, keqtqiadv, Boarder35m and JMG) have achieved earlier this year.

Mincheff won his second title in three weeks in the 27th round.
Meanwhile Labamba is close to deciding the championship (he is also doing well in the next round). Although Labamba has been helped by keqtqiadv missing two weeks, there is no doubt he will be a deserved winner.

After 29 rounds, Labamba has decided the championship and defends his title. Congratulations Ville!

What is interesting is that Labamba started slowly and did not achieve better than 5th place in any of the first ten rounds despite consistently scoring some points...but then he stepped up and went on to win five rounds and get 2nd place two times, which no-one has come near to over the whole season.

The last two rounds were particularly good for two relative newcomers from the US, Glab311 and Snoo Foo, well done. :yeah:

Only one round is left, in which JMG still has a chance to take second place in the overall standings with a good round. Labamba still needs to score points one more time to attain the record of having scored points every round.

The final round saw some shifts in the places 7-10 with seulCONTREtous rising to 7th place. Glab311 completed a very impressive last three rounds.

Labamba has won the season with a 44 point lead from keqtqiadv. So it is very unlikely that keqtqiadv would have been able to come to close to Labamba if he had not missed two rounds. In all respects Labamba is the deserving champion.

Thank you very much :) Gotta say your work here and in the other games has been nothing short of brilliant this year, respect! :worship:

I didn't expect to defend my title and for the large part of the season it looked like one of my two main rivals Murilo or Jan would take it. Then I found my old form, though winning 5 rounds was surprising to me. Not sure if I'll continue next year, but this really is a fun game and a great way to test your knowledge of the challenger circuit.
