It's not raining, but overcast.

So what? No rain = Open roof. I find it strange that they would choose to play this indoors when they don't really need to.

Nalbandian's forehand is abysmal, and it's starting to affect the rest of his game :help:

This isn't over yet, Madrid final anyone? Nalby can turn things around in no time, it's not like he's tanking the match, he's slowly finding his rhythm. JCF is serving well under pressure though, believe it or not, 9 ACES so far.

Ridiculous TB in Kohli - Nieminen match :spit:

Most won points were against serve! Kohli played strategically awfully by playing important points right on Nieminen's FH with loopy shots being out of position. Nieminen saved 7 set points (1 of them in TB) :yeah:

But there is one strange thing - Jarkko's serve. If he serves 1st serve around 180-190, it's never in, and he has to lower the speed to 160 - 170. His 2nd serve is around 120 - 125 Km/h  In TB at 6:6, he served a 114 km/h 2nd serve to make a double fault :help:

Hope that Jarkko's serving improves... Go, Jarkko!!!

Seriously though, I am also mystified by the adulation some people give Fat Dave  So he shows up to play once in a while against the likes of Fed or Nadal but, more often than not, he's knocked out before he can meet them. Well, didn't look like that. There were a few episodes when Jarkko was showing emotions, which are not characteristic to him, but I don't think they were meant to Kohli. It more looked like he directed that to somebody in crowd or smth. Doesn't really look like there's some blood between them.

Hmmm ok, I guess Kohli's discussion with the chair meant nothing, and Jarkko's turning his back and making cry baby hands was directed at the stands. :o Ok, well we must have had completely different angles, which I will grant because the shot was close to the players' faces.

Can't judge, this episode wasn't showed here.

But if there was some talk from Kohli to umpire, it was about linesman's wrong decision on Jarkko's BP at 5*:4, when Kohli's backhand was a plum on the line, but linesman showed it out.
