Yeah...they're the ones who come in after they sign in and check out GM, and find that they'd have to have a few drinks to cope with the insanity. So, they come over here to lurk, afraid that we'll bite. A message to lurkers: we're too much fun to bite.

But I just want to say something..not sure if this is the right place,anyway..
It's been a year since 11M in Madrid...no one I know was there at the time, but I have many friends there, and my sister lived there...those images hurt me a lot.

I just hope that terrorism, specially in Spain with the ETA,can stop for good.

Sky coverage starts at 6.00pm here Sophia - so just as soon as "Neighbours" finishes - LOL :) It's quite a good time as it gives me time to get home from work easily and get something to eat first though their night matches are impossible during the working week. And I think tonight's exhibition is at 5.30pm IW time which is 11.30pm here and about 8.30pm for Jazz.

Not to my knowledge - I guess maybe if they have some major rain delays they may show some, but I don't think that's likely in IW somehow. Come on, Juan. I don't know. If David starts out like crap against him, he'll be done.
No no David will win :)

Juan is no pick-nick. He's a tough one to beat, believe me. And he's not bad at all in hardourts. Don't forget het took fish to the fifth set to beat him, so it won't be easy at all.
Ok, he's 5-1

I'm not saying David won't beat him at all. I mean, David is much better than Juan, but that doesn't mean he'll walk over him.
BTW, he took the first set 6-2

Hmmm - just come back on line to find it will be Monaco - why do I get this strange, sinking feeling in my stomach? Maybe we've all been too confident this wek - and you know how I'm NEVER optimistic - it unnerves me!

And Jazz - don't worry about the diet - I'm sitting here drinking vodka and eating crisps (you probably call them chips) - Sophia will know what I mean - and they're McCoys cheese flavour too - the most fattening kind!!!!

Why do you get the strange sinking feeling?

Because from what Jazz has been saying, seems like Monaco could give David a really hard match - so more Internet scoring and stress for us. Btw - I'm convinced his match will be on Sunday - the other 1st rounds will take place tomorrow and then they will play on Monday - otherwise some players would have longer gaps between matches than others and it wouldn't be fair. So- Sophia - you know what the means for us on Mionday? Yes - Tim and Greg - live and interractive

Sure hope so - though if it's on Sunday I won't see  The only good thing for us in Europe though, will be that a match between two Argentines won't be considered a big draw in the States, so they won't get a night match and it'll be a more civilised time for us to follow.

I am not convinced, based on this victory, that Monaco can beat David. Dupuis is not on form, so that result is not indicative of what he can do against David. Unless he is still off-form (which I seriously doubt), David should get through this match.

Funny - as people, I much prefer Tim to Greg. Tim is a real sweetie and so is Lucy (his wife) and little Rosie - haven't met the baby yet but the whole family normally come to Monte Carlo (including Tim's Mum to act as babysitter) so I may meet her next month.

And yes - I want Agustin to win too Jazz. He was 3-0 in this final set at one stage but seems he is having one of his many lapses in concentration  As for Mariano - well Ollie Rochus is one of the "form" players of this year so far, so that was always going to be hard - must admit I had money on Ollie to win (not VCash - REAL money) so I can't be too sad because I need spending money in Monte Carlo!!

Cool Rosie, electricity scares me so I'll never do anything for which I'm not totally qualified. I have some sockets to replace. That's all. Not that complicated. Plus, I always work with power off, so no risk at all. :) As for the plumbing stuff, well, difficult to explain exactly what I have to do but at the end of the day, if all goes well, having a shower will become a real pleasure, like in thalasso... but cheaper! ;)

Good morning/afternoon, all. Today will be my rest day too, much like Rosie. I am going to read, write, and rest awhile. I so deserve it, since I have a week off to get it done.

You take it easy girl - we all need to rest and do nothing sometimes :)

Yes - good luck - plumbing and electrical stuff are what men are for in my opinion!!! They don't have so many other uses
OK girls, I see what you mean, but I'm not as categorical. Plus, I don't have one specimen here to do those tasks so I have no choice than doing them myself. And from what I have already witnessed with some guys I happened to see doing DIY, I'm much more gifted!!!!!

Tiff, enjoy your day of lazyness too...yes, you deserve it. :)

I'm back! And I must confess my DIY plans have been quite cancelled or delayed. I've had to deal with an unexpected pb...rather fast! I had a flat tire! Grrrr.... I hate it when it goes like this. I've fixed it now but I don't feel like starting the things I had planned for this afternoon. My old age gets me lazier each and every day... :o

Well, I've forced myself a bit and I've just finished with the plumbing...and it works! YEAH!!!!!! :p But the electrical stuff will wait for tomorrow because it's getting too dark to work properly without power.

Peggy, I see that you're well-treated by your BF. Could you just tell me where you have found such a specimen? I'm interested... ;)
