dudi could have won this tournament either way.

The right way was "should have won", like last week.

I think Suzuki wins this tournament easily. Sela must be tired of playing day by day these two weeks, and if he reaches finals at all (Skugor is talented young player from sport nation Croatia), you must take into account that Suzuki is an experienced player who doesn't play a lot of tournaments, but is capable of beating even stronger players than Sela. Of course, Suzuki have to make it through Motomura first.;)

i think Dudi will win this one in two sets, and i'll put my money on it (2.15).. he lost only one set in the last 14 matches he won.. Takao, on the other hand, does have a good serve, but that's pretty much it in my opinion.. he had a lot of trouble passing by some players far worst than dudi sela.. what do you guys think?

malisha

dudi doesnt enjoy serve and volley players...
both of them highly motivated...i think it will be a very good match for this level of tennis...
suzuki in his home country is excellent..his record in japan is great..
and dudi is hot...he was good in the indoor last week(and we know that he prefer outdoor matches)...

sholud be close..IMHO...but...go dudi:devil:

I agree. I think it will be a very attractive match with two aggressive players. I would put my money on Suzuki here, but since I don't bet, I won't ;)

IMO Dudi should win. The only reason he could loose is fatigue.

IMO Dudi should win. The only reason he could loose is fatigue.

fatigue is one more reason i'm betting on dudi today.. according to tennis.matchstat suzuki is recovering from a flu this week (47), and the flu was the reason he retired from the match with sergei bubka in week 44.. that being said, i must note he isn't that young anymore, 31 years of age.. dudi however is in his prime years, 22..

the on thing that's bothering me is the fact that suzuki is playing in his home country..

He targeted the weak Challengers this year, but with success. Kind of like how Gajdosova clawed her way into the WTA Top 100 by playing weak $25Ks. It's a good strategy (and I know Dudi is a good player ;)).
