US Open draw...

This draw sucks. Anyways, here are the things i noticed:

Quarter one

1.Lleyton has a tuff draw, with a probobal meeting with Greg in round 2, & a repeat of last years match with Blake in round 3.

2.Rios/Bjorkman 1st round, probably two of the most talented men in the ATP history, & in my opinion, both underachivers.

3.Karijeck/Novak round one.

4.Costa/Norman round 1 & Ferreira awaits in round 2.

Quarter two

1.Kafelnikov/Sanguinetti round one. Both are in a slump.

2.Gambill/Moya round 2.

3.Todd Martina/Gaudio round 1.

4.Pavel/Levy round 1 :sad::sad::sad:

Quarter three

1.Roddick could face fellow American & huge server Dent round 2, & Alex round 3

2.Canas/Pete round 3

3.Haas/Enqvist round 3

Quarter four-quarter of mayham

1.Ferrero-Lefty Scud round one.

2.Clement/Grosjean round 2 in a repeat of the 2001 Aus Open semi

3.Fabrice Santoro FRA
Ivan Ljubicic CRO

Mark Philippoussis AUS
Sjeng Schalken NED (24)

4.Julien Boutter FRA
Gustavo Kuerten BRA

Nicolas Kiefer GER
Marat Safin RUS (2) :sad::sad::sad:

Draw By Seeds:
Hewitt(1) v Blake(25)
Rios(22) v Novak(14)
Johansson(12) v El-Aynaoui(20)
Costa(8) v Robredo(31)
Kafelnikov(4) v Mirnyi(32)
Malisse (19) v Federer(13)
Moya (9) v Gaudio(21)
Agassi(6) v Pavel(30)
Henman(5) v Chela(26)
Roddick(11) v Corretja(18)
Canas(15) v Sampras(17)
Haas(3) v Enqvist(29)
Ferrero(7) v Gonzales(28)
Grosjean(10) v Schuttler(23)
Nalbandian(16) v Schalken(24)
Safin(2) v Lepentti(27)

So.... Quarter 4 has the most interesting match ups but not the largets seed firepower.
Quarter 3 is probably the tuffest, Quarter 2 is also tuff, while quarter 1 seems to be the easiest

Safin has probably the best draw. If he doesn't win this...

The Hewitt/Rusedski possible matchup round 2 is a bummer. Their matches are close two set or three set losses for Hewitt. Who knows what best of five will bring. If Hewitt gets through this, he's the clear favorite in this quarter. If Rusedski does, he'll likely fall to someone else, or be the losing semifinalist in this half.

Haas has a tough one. Canas, Henman, Sampras all could be looming. Roddick is there but Haas has a good record against him. This quarter is looking ripe for a "surprise semifinalist." But I hope Haas gets through to get revenge against Safin;)

Moya or Agassi are looking more like the "real" seed in Kafelnikov's quarter.

Hewitt will not meet Rusedski in the second round, Rusedski is now seeded because of the leavings from Canas and Johansson

lol I love this :D I hope Moya does well, and doesn't show up "careless" as well - I think he has the best shot out of all the Spaniards.
