"I don't know him well and I've never played him," the 34-year-old Frenchman said of his next opponent, who is 14 years his junior. "Last year we trained here together and he asked me if he could have his picture taken with me. This time I think I will be the one to ask." Nole must have forgot his game behind that mask bournerdan 10-31-2007, 01:28 PM I'm a big fan of Djokovic but that was a disgrace.....he picks up half a million for that rubbish.....there were points where he clearly hit straight to Santoro on purpose when it looked impossible to lose the point....I'm very disappointed by the way he decided to conduct himself today and I think if the Atp can fine Davydenko last week for not trying then surely Djokovic should get the same treatment...... Magenta 10-31-2007, 01:28 PM Not to formulate the Djokovic excuse book for losing, but did anyone think he just seemed like he didn't want to win for some reason or another.. belco 10-31-2007, 01:29 PM EMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa belco 10-31-2007, 01:31 PM bit sad but he saving it for next week.. he will be a diff man next week for sure... bournerdan 10-31-2007, 01:31 PM Not to formulate the Djokovic excuse book for losing, but did anyone think he just seemed like he didn't want to win for some reason or another.. Well....Fleming, Petchy and the rest of them must not know what they are talking about then.....Is it a bonus for playing in all the tennis masters series events? I don't know....but they haven't shut up about the fact that he gets half a mill just for turning up.... jitterbug 10-31-2007, 01:35 PM Even the LS seemed to shriek that Nole seemed like he wanted to lose that one pretty badly. Here is a link of his post match interview, I translated the most important part::) http://www.eurosport.fr/tennis/ms-paris-bercy/2007/sport_sto1366258.shtml What happened during the match? Nole : From the beginning of the match,I had difficulties to move and Santoro took controle, he wasn't doing anything special. He was putting the ball in the court and I made too many unforced errors. I wasn't at 1OO%, not even at 30% of my abilities. He deserved to win. I don't try to find me any excuses but we have to take in consideration that I had a little surgery just after Madrid. They removed me 2 wisdom teeth. I didn't practice for a week. Physically, I'm not in great shape at all. And Now? Nole: I'll try to rest, to eat a lot because I lost weight. I need to "take some kilos" and work on my physical form, slowly.
