arnaud gets nalbandian first round (gosh i haven't heard of this guy for a long time), then the winner meets berdych who's got a bye.

arnaud playing with a czech in doubles .. CERMAK, Frantisek (CZE)/CLEMENT, Arnaud (FRA) have drawn berdych (again) and kiefer.

micka isn't in the singles so i guess it isn't worth it for him just to go for the doubles??

the only other frenchie in the doubles is fabrice, and you know they are highly unlikely....... :tape:

i'm sad that he doesn't consider playing with ivo karlovic

I'm sad he doesn't consider playing with Fabrice, who's a fabulous player. And I do like him a lot, he's a nice guy.

David Nalbandian (Arg) a Arnaud Clement (Fra) 5-7, 6-2 y 6-4 :(

btw i don't know what's up with madrid, but it seems slow getting the doubles going. wednesday is tomorrow and arnaud and partner still don't get to play first round.
