Holy crap that:

a) sucks
b) is a really interesting match up :p

What surface could it be on? Novak's already beaten their little clay weapon Andreev on clay... so if Russia were to pick clay, that woudln't be to their advantage. Who's the home team? If Russia were smart they'd pick hard and play Youzhny since he owns Nole. For some reason I'm assuming that Russia gets to pick things :rolls:

I could, technically, go to this tie since I'd be on summer holidays then. Assuming I find a fairy godmother to pay my airline fares :tape:

What's the point of having "his" two big players facing each other in 1st round?
I'll never understand the mafia.

You don't have to understand the mafia gab. You just have to marry into it

To tell u the truth, I haven't heard for Tiriak since Becker retired, so I don't have a clew what's his position now, I just heard that he is in some kind of charge for draws. Tiriak was Slobodan Zivojinovic's (our tennis association president) best man on his wedding...with Becker I think.. so..it's just a tough draw, but actually I'm not too afraid of any Russian players...maybe Youzhny a little bit...but whatever.

Bring 'em on! :armed: I ain't afraid of no stinkin' Russians!

Novak Dj

The worst option for us. But I`m sure they aren`t pleased with draw too.

I'm sure they're not :)

Beyond Djokovic, I think the tour knows that Janko can be dangerous on any given day :D Plus a world class doubles player :D The Serbian team would be feared by anyone :D

The tie will in no way be a breeze, but it's so clear Serbia can win it if they prepare seriously and get in top shape (and 4 months is ample time for that, if used wisely). Nole can win any Russian (ownages are irrelevant) - he'll be highly motivated to show teeth, as always, and possibly backed up with a shiny big thing from AO - and out of the three remaining matches, I think we have a good chance to earn 1 point (Nole-Ziki are no joke, and Janko can surely kick serious asses on a good day).

I don't think it's all that bad. The Russian team is strong, but certainly beatable. With Nole, I think Serbia could beat anyone.

 I think I might just ignore this tie for the sake of my own sanity.

The following tie would either be in Belgium or decided by lot, since the last time Serbia played the Czechs it was actually Yugoslavia vs. Czechoslovakia :rolls:
